I just received a voicemail message myself today 11/10/10 for a guy stating that his name was Officer Danny Foster.  I couldn't quite make out the name of the company because of the caller's heavy accent.  The number that he called me from was 321.275.5257 (Sanford, FL) stating that I would be arrested either at my home or my job if I don't pay back a PayDay Loan that I never applied for nor received.  This guy had ALL of my personal information including my full SSN#, home address, cell number, my job's work name and number and my email address. He kept trying to fast talk me and read me a bunch of stuff and asked not to interrupt him while he talks. This guy was VERY rude and abrasive. When he initially called me, he did not leave a case #, file #, reference # or anything.  When I asked what the call was in reference to he asked, "You mean you don't know what this is about?" He placed me on hold and then the line went dead.  I called back 3-4 times and the line would ring and then immediately disconnect.  He then called my job and got one of my co-workers who then transferred him to me.  This thing is very unnerving and needs to STOP!!!! I am contacting the Sanford, FL Police Department to file a complaint (407-688-5070)...I agree with one of the other posts...DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION!!!! DON'T EVEN VERIFY THE INFORMATION THAT THE CALLER GIVES YOU!!!

Cheri, all beware new number from austin white he calls himself 760 561 3555. dumb jerk! they wont answer their phone now and it says to leave a msg. you can count on it and i did! friggin' scammers

I had the same calls as Cheri above and he said the same thing..I was scared too and then realized when I called back it was a machine! Its a complete scam and I hope they get caught..its horrible what people are doing to steal money from others that try hard to make it in life.

sounds about right called me today at work and on my cell -im full aware that all these scam artists work together and have lists of different names and companies to go by...if you do receive a call from them call tell them that if you can give them a call back. once you do that..call them and then ask to speak to the person whom call you once they get on the phone let them know that the FBI is traceing the phone call and that they are being recored

This so-called “Officer” had ALL of my personal information including my full SSN#, former home address, cell number, my job's work name and number, my family members names as personal references and my email address. He kept trying to fast talk me and read me a bunch of stuff and asked not to interrupt him while he talks. This guy was VERY rude and abrasive. When he initially called me, he did not leave a case #, file #, reference # or anything.  When I asked what the call was in reference to he asked, "You mean you don't know what this is about?, You don’t recall anything about this?".  He called my job and got one of my co-workers who then transferred him to me.  He then said he wanted to know what my intentions were, when I responded with “ My intentions are to prosecute you for Identity theft , you do not have the right to my personal information. You are merely an outsourced call center trying to steal money from me and don’t call me again! Kindly remove me from your call list and I hung up. This thing is very invading, illegal and most unnerving and needs to STOP!!!!

Well I was interviewed about this phone scam of Officer Danny Foster on Dec.31,2010 and it aired on WHAGTV NEWS on channel 12 in Hagerstown,Md

Thanks  for the imformation.  I recieved a call at my job and on my cell phone.  I called them back and stated I needed to give him 1000.00 imemdicatley or I was going to be arrested at work or at home.  I continued to ask him for the name of the company and he got smart with me.  When I first called they could not find my information so I knew soemhting was up.  He would nto let me speak to anyone else besides him.  I hung up. I will be calling law authorities today in my state about this.
