My message was 'hey this is Zach - give me a call.   I don't know any Zach's...  And although all the "free" phone look-ups supposedly have info on this number, its of course not free to get the info...

Reporting them to the fcc and state atty general what they r doing is against the law.

This is coming into my cell phone.  I want it stopped.

yeah this number called me today asking me if I want to give them my lawyers information. She said it was about a payday loan I got from Advance America 2006 I told her I don't have an attorney and I am still disabled but don't qualify for crap once I get this matter settled I make a payment if I do owed. She said she's not calling for payment she's calling for my attorneys info and will forward it to some senior person.

This number came across my cell, then she left a different # to call.  765-319-0156 (I think that's what she said, hard to understand).  I couldn't understand her name, either.  Didn't give a reason to call back, just asking me to call.  I'm sure they are the scam debt collectors that change numbers like people change their underwear.  Calling from and entirely different number, yet asking me to call another area code and number.  These people are the bottom feeders of the the bottom feeders.  99% of them are scam artists that try to "scare" you into giving you information.  I've kept them on the phone before, telling them to give me their name, name of their company, badge numbers, etc.  Then they get irate and start swearing.  I'm onto these people.....don't give them anything....NOTHING!  I actually love answering these because I'm not what they're prepared for!  Bring it on, idiots!  I'm onto you!

They called here (business phone). Recorded message said "we need to talk to you, press 1 to be connected to our office." If they really needed to talk to someone here, why aren't they on the line when I pick up?? I didn't press 1, I waited on the line until it disconnected.

Probably calling for an employee.

Don't know the guy, and called a business number.  Idiot.

I got a voice mail  that spoke, hesitated, then said...This is a test, If you got this message this is a test.
Looked this number up online and it displays telemarketing or background investigation webpages.  Called me twice 04/17/2014 and 04/11/2014.

If you got the loan in 2006, depending on where you live, the statute of limitations on the debt is most likely expired and they can't do anything about it.  In most states, they only have 5-7 years to collect on a debt before it's illegal to contact you.  http://www.creditinfocenter.com/rebuild/statuteLimitations.shtml

Some intimidating lawyer type voice -Charles K**** from Mathew Thomas and Associates left a message saying I and/or my lawyer needs to call 620-206-4153 back as soon as possible. No clue why and no name of who they are trying to scam as part of the message.

Got a message from someone alleging to be Craig ? of MathewsThomas & Assoc "need you or your attorney to call 321-445-8820". No clue why.

Sounds like a scam of some sort!

BS.  The last thing these scammers want is to talk to your attorney.  That is just an intimidation tactic they use.

Closing out our documents today, but didn't disclose who they are. I assume very illegal here in California.
