I didn't answer, they didn;t leave message.  Caller ID  said "COUNTY".  Well it's not my county.  321 prefix is for Brevard county.

These call centers are "For Profit" companies.  They are not the organization they purport to represent.  They give very little (sometimes about 5 cents on the dollar) to the organization for which they are collecting.  In fact, if they have a "minimum clause" in their contract, they needn't turn over any of the monies if a preset amount is not collected.  I simply block all calls that I do not recognize.  If you want to give money to the FOP or any other charity, call them directly or visit their web sites.  These call center people are just the same telemarketing companies with new names.

Do not get involved.  There's much more to this than you think.  Read these posts and heed their warning.  Share this info with senior citizens and young adults who aren't familiar with this tactic for separating you from your money.

FOP, this is a telemarketer that works for them.  Mostly they are rude and will not take no for an answer.  

Ask if they are a telemarketer and if the donation is tax deductible, some will even lie to you.  They will call in the evening, 8:30 or 9 is fine, they wants their money.  I have the Digitone 10 so I can block the annoying callers, but since they claim to be a charity they are immune to the do not call list you might be on.

These calls are from the Fraternal Order of Police. They do not take credit card number over the phone. They send you an envelope with a car sticker. You then send them a check. I use to donate to them. I don’t donate to anyone any more.

I just got the call today from "County". they hung up pretty quick when the person they where calling about wasnt here.
I could tell the guy was young and it did seem like telemarketers.

This outfit called again today. I never answer but they keep calling. Police organizations do not solicit donations like this. Calls coming from well out of my area according to the phone no. These "people" never give up. Sales calls usually begin by telling you they are not selling anything, but want you to know of an important advantage in reponse to a grave concern or danger (theft-in this case). AND that's a real laugh as theft is what THEY have in mind.Folks, please don't return these calls to see what they want. We should all know by now what they want-to make contact and try to get info from us. These people compile their information by bits and pieces until they know everything about you.

sounds like they want your money.  it is a shame that the people we count on to protect us are taking out money and then duuble dipping when it comes to retirement assets.  Thanks.  I have no faith in you and the issue is I worked side by side with you for multiple months.  Shame on you.  Shame.

Got a call this afternoon from 321-635-8055 and the caller ID  said "COUNTY".   I live in Lake County and our area code is 352 so I knew it wasn't from Lake County.  When I picked up the phone, the person on the other end immediately hung up.  I'm on the "Do Not Call" list but apparently the "DNC" list is a joke because I get calls all of the time from "Unknown Caller".   My wife and I decided to not answer the phone anymore unless we know who is calling us.   If that "Unknown Caller" has something important to tell me, they can leave a message.   :-)

HEY check us out online fopdistrict7.com. although the center of operations is in brevard, monies raised goes into each individual fop lodge. anyone can get a number with any area code they wish, but we are honest about what we do.

ALL FOP calls are scams. But you know that, you're obviously one of the scammers who makes them.

Does your mom you you trick victims out of money for a living, or did you hit her up for a "contribution" too?

Using the name of cops to rip people off? Bad idea Mr Give me your credit card or check by mail Scammer. Even the cops have said that your FOP is a scamming organization. Real charities are non-profit. FOP is a FRAUD. You know what people rather donate directly to the cops than through some liar claiming to be part of a police association. You are part of the fraud association. Rename yourself Fraud On Patrol.

Called and lots of noise in background and was saying -and you I will kill you, you sob-oh hello, could i speak to----actually said my name, and when no one answered started laughing his head off then hung up. I have a relation who is an ex con. Wonder if anyone else is in same situation, Maybe they call ex cons family doing this. Kept recording on another device just in case need it later, who knows.

Man had my name and claimed he was Fraternal Order of Police calling for donation. Said no to this scam.

Not my county as caller id displayed. Didn't answer, left no msg. Glad I googled this number to find this is  B.S. organization. The same that has called here in the past........several times!!!

I had this number call, but they were looking for a cousin- by name, although it is one she hasn't gone by in years. Claimed to be FOP... really confused me greatly!

? Do not call list and why do you use the name County except being a F.O.P.
