They claim to be Dun & King real estate investments. They come up private on caller ID and contact FSBO listings. Sounds very questionable to me as they have no web address, odd business hours and they don't appear to be registered with any BBB.

They seemed to be located near Disney World in Orlando, FL.

They are also NOT registered with the Florida Secretary of State's office, which combined with no BBB knowledge, is a GIANT red flag!!!

Nothing to worry about.  I've done business with them in the past on 2 properties, and they recently made on offer on my current property.  I can't do it though, and if you simply say no thanks, that's it and you won't hear from them again.  I don't know why you have problems finding out about them.  Within 2 minutes I called the Georgia corporation office and found them, and found them on the Florida Corporation Website at www.sunbiz.org.  I also contacted several counties in Alabama and spoke to people who dealt with them in the past, before I signed a contract with them on my first 2 properties.  I think they have over 500 public closings or so.  I spoke to 3 people out of 24 or so I found in Alabama.

I check with the Florida Corporation Website and Dun and King Investment Inc., filing was just completed on 04/14/2008 - two days ago. I am not sure what they were doing when you sold your first 2 properties. I also searched the Georgia and Alabama Corporation offices and found nothing.

I got an offer from them also.  Like the guy above me said, I wasn't interested in the offer, and I said no thanks.  They were real nice about it, and even wished me well in the sale of my home.  Also, in the e-mail they sent me yesterday, they said they were a Georgia corporation (which I also verified) by calling the state office, and just recently filed in Florida (which I hadn't verified, since I was no longer interested).  So that probably explains why they just filed.  I'm pretty sure they didn't say they were an alabama corporatin.

Is there a phone number you can share with me to call them? or the number you called in Fl. or Ga.?

We too have been trying to deal with Neleha Dun and have had good contact with her.  But we are also trying to get more background info on them and can't find much.  Can any one give us a direct contact, phone, name or a link besides sunbiz.org??  I too saw that they are filed in Florida but no Fed Employee Number is listed. Why??

Seems a little fishy. I got a call from them also. I have no idea if they are legit. They dont offer a monthly payment high enough to cover mine with the bank so I don't see it as a viable option

We received a call and email from them as well.  She was very pleasant, but it concerned me that their number came up restricted and, though I have not searched deeply yet, I am having a hard time finding them anywhere as well. The monthly payment does not cover our mortgage payment, either, but we are curious.  If anyone else has anything, I will keep reading.

I just signed a contract with them and received my first payment within the first week.  I saw the post posted by a clif on 6/17.  I asked Neleha about this and she said she has no contracts or done any business with a man named clif.  So far I'm having really good luck with them, so I wouldn't trust that post.  Most likely someone just trying to cause trouble.  If I'm wrong they (clif) will post proof of their claim, if I'm right they'll never post again or keep posting slander which I have notified Neleha of and they don't take to kindly to it and would consider filing a slander lawsuit against this person.

I've bought a house from them.  They were very nice and helped obtain the financing I needed.

I received a call today from Neleha Dun requesting information about a property that we are selling.

I have received an offer from Dun & King on my propery but I can't find info on them.  How did you find buyers in Alabama?  Any info would be helpful.

I've posted on here before, and I agree with Bevin.  This Clif guy has not posted any proof of ever doing business with Dun & King Investments.  Just more slander.  I've gotten to know Neleha since I am also from Oklahoma and she went to law school at Oklahoma City University Law.  How do I know?  That's where I went, a few years before her, but I've talked to her about it.  I've also notified Neleha of this Clif guy, and she is checking into it, and has passed all info. to her attorney.  As an attorney myself, a little advise to Clif.  You can say whatever you want on the internet, but you have to take responsibilty for it.  Neleha and Dun and King Investments can easily sue you for what you posted.  And it is nothing you can take away or erase.  You basically screwed yourself.  But to be fair.  Post who you are, provide proof of what you say.  You say they cheated you.  How?  You said they lied to you.  How?  You say they are a scam. How?  These are things that you would need to post for people to believe what you're saying? How can you not understand that?  Me and everyone on here, are dying to know if you're a scam and a fake yourself.  Prove yourself, or shut up.  Either way, you most likely will be in a court room.

I agree with Cliff, we have a house under contract with them and have not had a July payment, now it is almost August. The rent check was due on the 10th of July, late as of the 15th of July. Still no check. We have repeatedly e-mailed, called. Only after seeing my last comment on this site did I get a response from Nelia, she said "I will be mailing a check out to you" that was on July 26th. I hope she will see this message and respond to us with a check.

Don't do it. You are in for a ride of no payment.

Has anyone filed a complaint with the better business bureau??  I know that a lot of people check on companies through them.  When I checked on Dun & King Invest.  with the BBB, it said that there were no complaints regarding this company.  If they don't pay and are a bad company, maybe someone should report Dun & King. WE too were contacted by Ms. Dun and had a hard time contacting her.  It was like she would talk to you when she wanted too.  After not finding much out about the company and with them not having a FEI number, we didn't feel comfortable enough to go with her.  It is looking like we may have done the right thing.

Bob  -  Yes, the BBB has all the information regarding my problem.  They are currently investigating.  They are probably having the same problem contacting this outfit that we all are having  -  they will not answer their phone because they are afraid it will be someone trying to get paid.

When the BBB responds, I will post the findings.  Also, the Consumer Protestion Agency, and various state agencies have been contacted, and I have several attorneys that are looking into it as well.

    You just screwed your self again.  You claim you're not Justin, but then claim you filed with the BBB and the state consumer agency.  And isn't it funny, the only person we've had a problem with, who has filed these claims is Justin McKee.  Liar, Liar, pants on fire, as the saying goes.  I'm curious as to why your lying?  Are you afraid of me or something?  Or is it you know your wrong, but you still feel the need to attack so you do the only thing you can.  Well, I don't want to sue them becuase we won't win, but let's ruin their name and their business, and file some false complaints, the best thing that happens they pay us to quit, the worst thing that happens is we ruin them.  Ha-Ha.
I got bad news for you, we won't quit what we do.  We enjoy the work and we enjoy helping buyers and sellers out, and if you actually read what we wrote you could have been helped by us too, but you refused.  Actually, you're helping us out.  Anybody that reads the lies you wrote and they actually don't business with us because of that instead checking public record, and speaking to the people we've actually dealt with in a positive manner and checking out our corporate papers then we would not want to do business with them also.  Because the smart people understand that they themselves could post on here and say whatever they want.  Does that make it true?  Public record is true.  Justin, you don't have any public records.  But anyway, if you still want to slander our name, that's fine, we have decided to move forward to court with you, but it does weed out people like you.  So anybody that reads these lies, if you honestly believe them, then please, disregard our offer.
