- LindaGuess the robo's had lots of coffee this AM!! Seems I can't even make an outgoing call from the landline without the darn thing ringing!!! Never answer an unknown. I know people are desperate for work, but shouldn't they check out the "employer"???
- scamwatcherJust got a call from these POS scammers. They hung up before ans machine picked up.

- ElaineDid not answer due to caller ID of unknown. Since AT&T will only let me block X number of calls, I will get rid of my land line when I move. Sorry AT&T you will have to get over the lose of my monthly land line fee. Loose enough land lines and maybe you will sit up and take notice. You tell me to unlisted my number and change it for a small fee, instead of trying to solve the problem of the scammers. You must make me money off them than you do off us.

- MikeAI am seriously considering disconnecting my land line. This number shows Securhome on caller ID. The problem is not the spammers, it is the phone company that are partners with these spammers. That is why Verizon allows you to block 10 numbers only. Verizon derives major revenues from these spammers. They even assigned them caller ID.
Do Not Call list is also a major joke and another example of government waste.- Caller: Securhome

- AvaCaller ID said Los Angeles, CA, I just pick up and hang up the phone. They have called back 4 times today....
- Keith| 1 replyI've gotten a lot of calls from this number recently. Finally got PO'd enough to answer. It is in fact a sales pitch for a wireless security system. Nicole, I'm pretty sure, was a live person. As she was about to transfer me to a security specialist, I spoke her name and said wait. I then stated I didn't want to spend their time, or mine, talking about something that I was not interested in. She said OK and apologized for disturbing me.

- bobfmdc replies to KeithSo did they call back?
A prevalent premise is that answering only gets you more calls. If telemarketers would leave you alone when you say to take your number off their list, most of us would do that. - Telly TelephoneThis number has called my home several times. It shows Los Angeles on my caller ID. I have never answered it, because I know no one and don't do business with anyone in Los Angeles. I know it is some damn pest trying to sell me something. Didn't work. They are now blocked.

- Rocklin residentOcc Philipina showed up on caller ID. We do not answer calls from strange area codes or unidentified persons. Pesky callers. If they call morey than once, we block the numbers (our phone can only block 30 numbers) so have to erase from the back.
- BoSkeezerToday I received two calls from this number that I did not answer. They left no message. For some reason I called the number. The automated respondent offered to direct my call to a sales rep, or add me to their "do not call list". I selected the latter option. We'll see what happens.
- YvonneThis number keeps disturbing us all day..
