Received same message this morning.

Received call from 323-244-2923 from IRS officer "Nikki Johnson" demanding that me or my representative attorney call immediately. Voice sounds like it is run through a neutralizer but uses improper English.

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

I received 4 calls this morning and there was finally a recorded message from Nikki Johnson as well.  Same as above.  I have filed an official complaint

I also received a recorded message from alleged IRS officer Nikki Johnson this morning [5/12/15] saying the call was from her hotline number 323-244-2923, not to ignore the message and return the call before they take any action against me, goodbye and take care. Ha, glad I googled this and found out it's a scam.

I'm glad I goggled it to!  I received the same message yesterday, and Ive been stressing ever since. I don't know what made me google it but thank god it's a scam!  Thank you for posting this!!!

Received same call several times from Nikki Johnson.   I called them back knowing that it is a scam.  The man who answered had a middle eastern accent and said I was being investigated for tax fraud.  I told him that I was recording the conversation and he hung up.

Ditto to all the above. I got the call/recording today, called right back and the middle-eastern accented man said "your investigator" is out, call back Monday.
Scam.....
The IRS uses certified snail mail to make their first contact, I know because I've been through it.

Got 7 calls in a row this morning, they have yet to leave me a voice-mail.

I got this same one today, just now.  Same number.

I received a call from Nikki Johnson who left me a voicemail to call immediately, that it's the IRS and not to disregard it.
I'm pretty sure the IRS wouldn't be auditing me. They would probably owe me, that's why I knew it had to be a scam.
I kind of hope they call back.  I would love to have a little fun with it.

got a call this morning called back officer name adam spencer middle eastern speaking person threating prison of 5yrs if I don't pay

I received this call at about 10 Am from an officer Nicki Johnson from the IRS I knew it was a scam so I didn't bother to call back.

Same info as above left as a voice mail.
Called back, Indian accent guy answered with name Adam Spencer, asking for my lawyer to call them.
