You are wasting your time blocking the numbers these spammers use.  The have a little black box and they type into it a number and a caller ID to transmit to you.  That is NOT where they are calling from and they change the numbers and IDs every day.  I recognize my callers by the time they call, not the numbers or IDs.

Good news is recently the FCC authorized phone companies to identify and block spammers under certain circumstances.  Similar to how your email provider blocks or routes spam to junk folders.  Just a few days ago, ATT announced it had blocked 1 Billion calls from completion that it had identified as spam in the last 5 months!!!

Called.  Silence when I said hello.  I hung up.

No message. I've saved this number to my caller ID under "scam" so if they call again I'll know to ignore it, or answer the call and repeatedly press the # key to signal the robo dialer that it's a nonworking number.

VMS calls me every day calling me from above numbers
these numbers lead to this number 716-932-3240 research  number on 800notes. The number leads to Versatile Marketing Solutions,  lnc. and a court order and complaint. Doing business as VMS Alarms, VMS, Alliance Security, and Alliance Home Protection; and its owner, Jasjit Gotra:

I would imagine this is an anti-abortion person or group trying to stir up anti-PP feelings by bothering people, using Caller ID spoofing.  If it was really PP calling they would be there when you pick up the phone, wouldn't they?

This is an organization who calls people on the phone to try to talk them into giving away their money. They happen to have a list with your name and phone number on it, identifying you as a person of high moral character who is likely to be talked into donating to liberal causes - most likely because you have done so in the past.

It's probably a legal organization rather than an outright scam. They intend to give a tiny portion of your donation to Planned Parenthood, or whoever, then keep the bulk of the money for themselves. Of course, that's a terrible idea, since you could just give the entire donation to Planned Parenthood yourself.

As for their phone calls, they usually stop after a while if they get no answer. If it gets too annoying we will just block the number from ringing the phone.

Amazing how many "PPFA"s there are Plastic Pipe Fitters Association, Professional Picture Framers Association, Planned Parenthood Foundation of America, and no hit on any of them if you search this telephone number.   Routed to FAX machine.

Dear planned parenthood; please do not call here anymore. I am all for your cause, but i cannot donate any more at this time and these calls are way too frequent.

They call on a regular basis, I have never answered & they've never left a message.  Have to get a call blocker, the phone's is filled up!
If it really is Planned Parenthood, they would have left a message.
