Call came in at 15:01 on 21 August.  Caller ID:Montebello CA...Google look up indicates this is an Illegal Telemarketing phone (one of many) in California...wonder why they have reached out to Alabama? Business must be slow on the west coast.

No message left.

Same call at 1539 hours.   Monkey business!

Caller left no message.  Caller ID also indicated a California caller.

Caller ID says cell phone.  I called number back and got a recording telling me I could be placed on their do not call list...no thanks I'll just block their ass.

I just received this call , 2:51pm, Eastern time.  It shows up as CA on my caller ID.  The same number called my cell phone this am.  No messages.

14:05 PM this number called. Id saws up as "CA". If the FCC is having such a hard time finding these people, just ask the NSA who it is. lol.

Same number. Says CA. No message. Will these insane calls ever stop?. I get a different one almost everyday and sometimes more than one a day. If you think the do not call list helps you are wrong. I don't answer any of them. If the call is important they will leave a message.

Didn't recognize number, didn't pick up.  Caller disconnected when call went to answering machine.

The DNC list only keeps the honest business's honest! The scammers,robo callers,frauds & extortionists do not obey laws period!

And those real ones that do, get fined and socked pretty good, you need to file reports..  But don't think its going to stop those scams,extortionist and thieves! Charity's and Political calls are also exempt..   but most will remove you if asked!

Caller ID said "CA".  Didn't answer.  Looks like they're also reaching out here in CT.  They're wasting their time.  Pathetic lives!!!

It's a robot caller from Emergency Medical Alert System Company, the same one with the "I've fallen and can't get up" commercial. You can file a complaint with CallerID4U (http://www.callerid4u.com/register-request/). Hopefully with enough complaints, they will shut down that part of their spamming operation.

Call came in at 9:14 CDT in Texas. Caller ID reads CA. I was not in. Caller ceft no message.

When you think about it, it becomes clear of what large business and corporation think of the general citizenry ,US, by the way they handle their selves when they exercise the cheap legal loopholes built into the phone systems.

"YOU ARE A TELEMARKETER, AND I DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH ANY COMPANY THAT USES TELEMARKETING AS A FORM OF ADVERTISING" (stolen from a comment on this web site -- I love it).  And do not answer name unavailable ever as calls are now starting to say that often.  Another comment from this web site says: When you press the number to have your number removed, all you do is confirm that your number is a working one.  Now I either block the numbers or I don't answer the phone at all.  Another comment was:  They sold your known active number to another scammer!!!  That is what they do when you call them back to opt out.  SO DON’T HAVE YOUR NUMBER REMOVED!

Let me explain my idea of ROBO CALLS. Each area code has 9,999,999 numbers fyi (7 digits). The program starts calling every number that it can in succession.  So they don't need to buy or obtain lists from anyone.  I am going to copy and paste and post this info for each number that calls me for this web site (9,999,98 numbers more to copy and paste to)

NOTHING IS GOING TO STOP THESE SCAMMERS AND LAZY COLLECTION AGENCIES (statute of limitations on debt:  http://www.creditinfocenter.com/rebuild/statuteLimitations.shtml)  who call everyone with the same name instead of looking up the right one and all we can do is block them or use call forward selective..  DNC does not work when they are robo dialing all possible random numbers. The authorities can not or will not help either.

So, just block them, DON'T ANSWER UNKNOWN CALLS, and continue using this great site for information to be in control of your own home and cell phone calls.  If it turns out that you did not answer a call from someone you know (number not on this site), just call them back.  No problem.  It’s a lot of work that I do (checking the number on this web site, blocking the caller,  but at least I FEEL like I have a little control of the situation. Maybe I'm delusional.  Another smart person on this web site said to save it to your contacts as spam 1, then spam 2, etc. so you can just ignore the call.

Not only that but reputable charitable organizations don't solicit donations by phone.

So it's good advice to remember to just say no to anyone who solicits over the phone unless you actually know the person calling.

just got a call from 323-281-1560, that is how is showed up on caller ID.  Since I didn't know the number, I just hit the speaker on the phone and don't say a word and let them hang up.  have now blocked this # from calling.  I am on the do not call list, but they still call

Just got a call from this number.  No ID, no message.  Ignored, blocked and reported.

I called back after finding # ON MY computer log I was asked me to hit #1 and in 72 hours will be removed. I will see if  I get any more calls after sept. 1. I did recorded all of the procedure so will have a record to report to proper authorities at F.C.C.
