There's an easy way to fix that, and it's called not playing their game by answering the phone and shutting down your answering machine to unknown numbers. They'll get tired of calling a number that has no answer, and stop. Pass the word along and give these clowns less participants. Subpoenas and summons aren't forewarned by telephone or e-mail and a good indication the call is bogus.

I just received a phone call from a "Jason Williams" and he also called my sister and Mother, claiming that if we did not call back, my brother would be served with a court case. Totally bogus, I told them to go ahead and serve him.  He tried to intimidate my Mother over the phone as well. All they want is money. DO NOT PAY! If you see CALLED ID BLOCKED, do not answer and they will eventually stop calling.

Man stated his name as Bill Spencer threathen to send paperwork to my job for garnishment when I asked him about a judge have to grant that not you he hung up on me saying he had further nomore to say that he sending paperwork to my job

I got a call from a restricted number. They left me a voice message saying that they are calling regarding a process verification and gave  me a case file number. Asked me to call back on this number. 3232825894

ABSOLUTELY SCAM!!!!

I just got a call today from 323-282-5894 and like others mentioned here it happened exactly like they said . it was a guy with an intimidating and aggressive voice that told me I owe money to HSBC Bank from a Best Buy account that was past due and said he got a subpoena from the County Court and he even mentioned the actual County where I live !! , he said I owe $2,938 and I told him I did not have that money and he said he was going to give a opportunity to make a couple phone calls to my relatives more like my brother to get some money from him, he said at least couple thousands to stop the situation from getting worse or go the court. (that's when I got SUSPICIOUS) He gave me a dead line to call him by 9:00 am the next day or else I'm on my own "he also knew my 4 last digits on my SS" and other personal info. like my address !! his name by the way is "BILL SPENCER" and all of this happened on 10/7/2015 at 4:30 pm. be careful guys

Same story here. Received a voicemail on call and they asked to call back at 323-282-5894. Same story like everyone else in comments is stating. Once they hung up, another call came in from 503-403-0733. Different person, same story. They must have been new- there were like blank on what to say. they even said to call 555-5550. lol. These folks. LOL!

Same kind of deal.  Bill Spencer identified himself as a ' Federal Officer ' to my wife over the phone.  I called and asked him why he would identify himself like that .  He says he never said that and hung up.  Called our local Police Department, and they seem to know of him and the whole scam.

Aggressive caller from a private number. Stating my entire name and that they were calling from HSC I must call them back regarding a very serious matter leaving the call back number of 323-582-5894. Look up HAD on Google didn't discover any said company! SCAM!

I received a call from this number at 1:38pm Monday afternoon in California. They left a voicemail that sounded wierd and sound like someone was breathing too hard and whispering. Then it hung up. Had to check who was this number, and come to find out it's wanted by the State Authorities to detain and terminal this persons actions against so many in a falsely way. Th X for the info...it made me stop looking out my window with my 9mm in my best hand.
