got a call from this number and they said they had criminal charges against me and knew the last four of my social but said my job was being monitored. When i called the number back it said my phone couldn't make these calls so I'm assuming its fraud and out of the country. They said my job was being monitored it can also be the people who make calls to your cell and just try to keep you on hold and end up charging your phone bill with a lot of money.

I also receiced a call from this number to my work location.  I was told the same thing about being sued with criminal charges from Cash America USA for an unpaid payday loan which I never took out.  The persons name that they gave me was John Mclain.  They also told me that I would receive a court summons at my work location.

Received 8 calls in a row from this number at work within 10 minutes of each other, finally they left a message saying this was a John Butler (but person had strong foreign accent) and the message contained the same as other previously stated.

I received the same phone call today. They had a very strong accent and the man was extremely rude. Except I was able to contact the phone number back.

I just had the same message left on my voicemail at work.  They have been calling both my husband's and my cell phones for over 3 months now.  His name was "John Butler"  Then he called back not less than 10 minutes later, I was on the phone and he left another voice mail again stating he was John Butler and that he had a case pending against me and that I needed to call 323-284-2250 right away or I would be picked up at my work and that me or my attorney would need to call them back if we wanted to avoid my being picked up or served at work.  The number they leave on my phone is always a local number but can never be recalled or dials into their own network.  They change their numbers all the time.  I have contacted an attorney and have filed all the complaints that I can and know to file.  They just keep calling and harrassing as much as possible.

I keep getting calls from this number saying I better call them back, that I have a lawsuit against me for a payday loan. Never had one. Now they've started calling my work. Caller says his name is Perry Black

This is a scam. Investigation into harassing phone calls.  Other numbers are 323-384-2250.  Name:  Oscar Salazar and 408-627-7270.  No Name.  323 is Hollywood/L.A. and 408 is San Jose.

I received a call from this number on my cell phone, I hung up and he called back and I let it go to voicemail.  He stated his name was Eric Johnson, but he has a very strong accident.  What kinda fool do he think I am.  It smells like a scam to me.

Say that FBI will arrest us because of a cyber crime, curses us, then I recieve messages saying that if I or my lawyer does not call them back I will be arrested.  They are calling mine and my husbands work. I am not sure who to contact about this.

Same as above.  However, when I called the number back they answered hello.  I then advised that I am taking legal action on them regarding the threating calls they I am getting from this number. Of course the idiot's reply was sue me sue me.  I hung up.  But it is indeed a scam. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFOMRATION ABOUT YOURSELF.

I recieved the same phone call a few days ago. stating i was going to get arrested for a cyber crime

I received a phone call from  some guy stating that he is pressing charges on me.. for a cash advance that I never got, I contacted my shortly after I got off the phone with this guy. My bank told me to tranfer my account to a new account..... is there anything i can do about this issue?

This number is from LA California. I got a call from them and done a reverse id through 411. If you get a call from this number report it to the police they have ways of tracking it......I called them out on being a scam and they said "we did not know you knew we were scammers we will not be contacting you anymore" in exact words.  So give no information to them.
