This report was on my local Nextdoor dot com chapter:  The caller said they were from SoCal Edison and were talking about the 17% rate increase that was going into effect soon and how they could save me money.
When I asked why they were calling me, they said I was a customer.  I replied, that’s strange because my service is handled by LADWP.
I asked for their phone number and they hung up.  I captured their phone number in my caller id which when I called back there was no answer.

The called Id came up IPRETAIL.  I answered the phone that way.  Called back and no answer.

I've gotten 2 calls, 2 hang-ups.

Guy saying his family business is home improvement/repair work.  I insisted on their contractor name, phone and license number.  I had to repeatedly insist.  He gave some BS and hung up.  Scofflaws all the way!

Claimed that he talked to me "about a year ago" regarding some home improvement projects. I told him he was a telemarketer violating the do not call list and calling on a Sunday, that he was a liar, criminal and scum, he hung up.

Received a call from this number today, the person on the other end sounded like a teenager. I'm not really sure what he said about my electric bill as he sounded nervous but as soon as I asked if he worked for Edison and if he could provide information on my account he hung up.

Caller Mike works for a small family... I hung up, have been receiving these calls from different numbers for YEARS.

The same obnoxious caller has today's scam being about roofing, a "family business".  Yeah, family as in "mafioso wannabees".

I have received several calls from this phone number.  It just calls and hangs up.
