Display says "Los Angeles" and I only hear a recorder "good bye."

They have called twice now.

My caller id could not identify the caller, so I did't answer.

Called id said "Number Unavailable" so didn't answer.  This is at least the second call from this number.

I foolishly answered. Lady said she was w/ [can't remember] mortgage company. She asked if my mortgage rate was greater than 3%. I said "no" (she didn't ask if I HAD a mortgage). She said she couldn't help me. She politely said "goodby", and that was it.

These people will not stop calling. Although I have asked three times to be removed from the calling list and be placed on the do not call list.   My number is listed with the national do not call list.  This is getting old.
Tonight when the guy called, I asked him to please stop calling and put me on the do not call list, his reply was "wait a minute"......  he was rude.   I  hope others will simply pick up the phone and blow a whistle in their ear when they call you. That's what Im going to do next time.

These people call all hours of the night and will not stop calling when asked to do so .

A woman called asking to speak with my son, she claimed that my son has a mortgage in a neighboring town. I told her this must be some sort of mistake, my son is 17 years old. I then asked her how I could help, she replied, sorry, I can only discuss this with your son, then she hung up. There is something very odd about this.

No caller id, so I did not answer.  No message left.

This is a nuisance caller. Don't even answer.

They never say anything but good bye when I answer the phone. What's the point. Now I just never answer a call with a 323 area code. Hope it's not my brother.

I seriously think that the DNC list was a sucker's bet.  Got sick of the calls so I finally put us on it.  Now we get MORE calls!  I swear the gov't is just using that DNC list to get a list to sell to telemarketing scum

Folks, please pay attention: if you think that posting your complaints, and making requests to have your numbers removed from any list on this forum is going to work, you're sadly mistaken. These telemarketers don't care if you're on the Do Not Call List; they don't care if you don't want them to call; they don't care if you call them names or hang up on them. They don't care if it's illegal. They just DON'T CARE.

They are relentless.

They will NEVER stop.

Best advice? Put your phone on silent, and never answer it. You are not required to answer that appliance. Let it ring, forget about it, and go on with your day. If someone wants to reach you that badly, they will leave a message.
