- Sandra replies to susieI got a call saying they were from Microsoft and that my computer is reporting back suspicious info... I told the man on the phone this sounded like a phishing call so would have to call back. They gave me a phone of 323-284-6307. I just called the number. There is no way this number can truly be Microsoft!!! First of all Microsoft would be 800 or 888... Secondly, when I call the number back at 8 PM at night I get a recording saying "There is no one available to take your call".
Nice try Hackers! Suck it! - robertI got a call from this number also. A guy with a thick accent said Microsoft had detected unusual activity on my computer and put his tech on the phone to tell me what to do. Said they were NAK Computers in L.A. but refused to give me their address. I hung up.

- D WoodI received a call also from a ma n with a thick accent, said his name is ALEX. with NAK Computers in L.A. Calif. Gave me the 323-284-6307 when I said I had to wait and call him back. - JARMy 83 year old neighbor received numerous calls from this number. Unfortunately she gave them her bank card information and when was told that didn't work gave them credit card information. Already $1000 has been transferred from her bank account and $250 charged on one credit card. If her ex hadn't told her this was a scam and to get to the bank she would have been ripped off for more. She's in the process of contacting Chase and Barclays to ask if there has been any suspicious activity on those cards. Just hang up and if you can block future calls.
- SCAM!Received a call from 323-284-6307. Thick accent on the other end. Said his name was Adam Goldberg (isn't this an actor??). Wanted to confirm my order, but could only receive payment via PayPal. To my curiosity, I did place an order back in September but cancelled it prior to shipment. 'Adam' was referencing this order and said he just received the order instructions yesterday (in December - 3mo. after initial placement), but I would need to send payment through PayPal before he could release shipment. He already had my information (name, phone, email) from this previous order online. I let him send the invoice, but inquired who the email would be coming from?? I asked if the email was coming from the company which I placed the order. He replied, 'No, it will be coming from Adam Goldberg.' Red flag!!! I did not pay it! The invoice did not reference my actual order. I called the number back, and 'Adam' answered. I inquired why the invoice did not reference my actual order items. His response, 'We cannot disclose the actual shipment description on the invoice.' Red flags all over this conversation! Scam!! Block this number.
