Caller with an authoritative sounding male voice said he was from the United American Veterans. I immediately hung up.  My instincts were right. I checked with whitepages.com and they say the Spam/Fraud Potential is HIGH RISK for this number. Now blocked

Caller ID says "unknown name".  Left no message.

We received a call  at 12:20 pm on Saturday. The caller loudly and rudely wanted to know if my wife was there. I asked who wanted to know and why they were calling: he immediately said, "Oh! We are calling for either one of you ( but unlike with my wife, he did not address me by name ). He said he was with the "American Veterans." An obvious scam, so I hung up.

Called on a Sunday which is illegal for phone sales Etc. I called back and it said this number isn't available.

Calls never left messages on voice mail!!!!  Surely, it's a scammer, skunks of calls!!

no message left. they called my DNC listed #. Typical of criminal/scammer behavior. Blocked now :)

Some guy called and asked for the head of household. I schooled him on phone etiquette on how he should identify himself and where he is calling from before asking for anyone. Dude hung up without responding. LOL!!!

Usually don’t answer calls from unknown numbers.
I was expecting a call L.A. so I picked up this one.

Guy asks for me by name. He starts rambling on about “our hero Veterans” and if he “sends me an envelope, would I be willing to help them”.

Told him that I support my local American Legion Hall and hung up.

Judging by other 800Notes posts, this tele-pimp is fecal waste.

Received a call a few minutes ago. They asked for the head of the household in a thick southern accent. I immediately knew it was a scam or charity thing, so I asked them if this was a telemarketer. They didn't hang up, but didn't say anything for about a minute then sighed and hung up. Weird.
