"This is Ricky Stevens from the department of legal affairs regarding the enforcement action against you."  - I haven't used this phone number in years.  Must be some old list they got a hold of.  They left a voice mail.

RECIEVED the same call from a foreign sounding man named NICK WALKER....stated from us treasury department and needed to talk to my husband.  I informed him I would give him the message...I called my hubby and he called from work (us army) and he FINALLY got thru to a person and when they answered he stated"this is SFC J***" they hung up!!!  So glad I saw this cause I now know it's a SCAM!! Grrrrrrrr

My parents got a call for me fro Ricky Stevens earlier today.

I got a call yesterday from this number yesterday. The woman said that I owed taxes from 2006 and that I had a warrant out for my arrest. I laughed and told her that there was no way I owed money from that year because I was in High School and she hung up on me. I called back because I felt like something was a little strange and it went straight to voicemail so I hung up. I got another call this morning saying that the man received a message from me and he was returning my call. I told him that I did not leave a message but that he can take me off of their call list. The man SCREAMED "F*CK YOU!" and hung up on me!!  

323-515-5203 keeps calling saying we will be arrested

Got three calls today (Nick Walker and Troy Martin - same person, thick Indian accent) from "Department of Legal Affairs, Department of the Treasury" regarding my Notice CP503 (IRS Notice when money is owed).  I am a CPA and am familiar that a phone call like that is not from the IRS.   I sent complaint to Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration!

Received a message for Nate Walker from this number. Had to play it back about 4 times to even halfway get what he was saying about legal affairs department. I called back and got an recorded message that sound pretty shady.  Pretty easy for me to figure out this is a scam, but I feel bad for anyone who falls for these idiots.  I too found this article immediately and he followed very closely to the same script.

I have gotten several calls today from 1-323-515-5203 on caller ID it shows from "California" they came @ 10:06am, 2:05pm, 3:14pm, and then @ 4:43pm left a message from a strong accented person.
He stated he was from Legal Affairs and legal action was being brought against me. He said his name was Rick Stevens and that he hoped I would return his call or he would see me "in court".

Got a voice mail threatening legal action against my deceased husband from "Nick Walker" of the Department of Legal Affairs. Obviously reading, very slowly, from a script. My husband has been gone for several years now, as any legitimate business, and certainly the IRS, would know. Call type: Scam.

Second call of this type in the last week. Name is "Ricky Stephens" regarding legal affairs.  Very thick accent.  Suggested my attorney call.

My nephew got the same call today, also claiming that he owed taxes from 2007 and 2008.  He mentioned coming to arrest him tomorrow blah blah blah.  My sister was panicked and called me.

I got the fraudulent call this evening.  "McWalker" (not sure if I heard the name right) with a thick accent called to say he was calling from the Department of Legal Affairs of the US Treasury.  He identified himself with badge number 36546.  He said his call was regarding Law Enforcement Action against me and asked if I had received the CP503 form.  He also said that I needed to give him my lawyer information immediately.  I asked him what the CP503 would be regarding and he said that he didn't have that information.  I asked for a call back number and refused to provide any information until I got more information. He said to call Officer Troy Martin, at 1-323-515-5203 but that he may not answer. If he doesn't just to leave a message. I called back later that night and it's a very suspicious answering machine recording.

Same scheme - dude told me the heavy accented caller gave a very generic name and his employee # from the Treasury Dept and said I had a judgement against me.  I said he had the wrong person and he rattled off my home mailing address.  I insisted I had nothing against me and he said "prepare to be arrested" and hung up.  Don't know what he was after...

Received a message from a "Ricky Stevens" with a thick accent telling me that he was from the "department of legal affairs" .  He warned of ensuing legal action if I did not return his call.  What a scam!

Do not call again and remove this number from your call list.

I was left a message on the phone today about a male named Ricky Stevens with a thick accent asking if I had a lawyer or an attorny and said that I had something to do with Legal Affairs. He mentioned that he was from the U.S treasury. The phone number was 323-515-5203

I got a call from these scammers.  The dummies are looking for other dummies who are easy targets.  I reported the number to the State of California Department of Justice- Office of the Attorney General

I also got voice message from Nick Walker. I called back and even can't leave message. It's scam!

I got a call on my cell phone this morning from Nick Walker with the Department of Legal Affairs. He said I needed an attorney and that the IRS had started legal action against me. He had my address and told me I would need to call Officer Troy Martin at this same number to get the details. I called and it sounded like the same person (odd accent) identifying himself as Troy Martin. Then, he tells me he has to read me this statement and I can't interrupt until he finishes. He goes on about how I owe money and there will be a warrant for my arrest and I can be jailed for 6 months. When I ask him what this is about he says my 2009 taxes were filed improperly and now I owe a lot of money. When I object that this doesn't make any sense he ratchets up and starts saying, "Well then you are going to be arrested!" I hung up, typed the number into google and found this scam alert site. Nasty stuff!

I received the exact same call a few minutes ago.  unfortunately, I thought it might be related to my company and so I called back and left a voicemail. will report them to irs. thx for info!!
