The caller identified himself as being from the Dept. of Legal affairs of the US Treasury and that my son was in danger of Legal prosecution, that I should call 323-515-5203 to prevent him from being arrested.  It was an obvious scam.  I can see how a naïve person or confused person could be duped .

I received a message tonight from Mic Walker at the above number.  Claiming to be with the department of legal affairs.
He said there was a legal action being taken out against me and I needed to call him or have my lawyer call him.
Can we get together and have them taken to court--give them a taste of legal action?....

I just got a message from that number 323 515 5203 from Mic Walker.  
He had a strong accent and was claiming to be from the Legal Affairs Department.
He told me that I had a legal action taken out against me and that I should retain an attorney and have him or me call back.
Can we all get together and show them some real legal action?  

No you can't.  They are hard core Indian scammer/extortionists located in India and as such beyond the reach of US law.  Call blocker is your best bet and do not pock up on numbers you do not recognize.

The same guy called and left a long message in my answering machine. It's kind of a nice change from having "Microsoft" calling about my "Windows computer," but it upsets me that someone's grandmother could be easily taken in by these idiots.

I just received a call on the recording from "NIC WALKER" claiming to be from The Department of Legal Affairs, thick accent, and obviously reading from a script, he said that there was police action taken against me and that I needed to have my lawyers call him back immediately.

I got the same caller and didn't understand him.  he talked super slow and I got scared a deleted message! My daughter said he sounded scary! Lol.. If anyone is going to take legal action they will serve you papers or mail you something right? I hate these stupid scam calls!

A man in a very heavy accent left this message on my answering machine..."Hello this is Reggie Stevens with the department  of legal affairs. Well I was trying to reach you  in regards to a very important issue. This is a verbal notification in regards to the enforcement action that have been started on your name.  My number is 323-515-5203, I repeat that, 323-515-5203  If for any reason you are busy to call back I would suggest you do have your recent authority to do it for you  as delaying it might end up in a legal mess for you. Looking forward to speak to you, until then you have a blessed day, good-bye."

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Got a call from (323)515-5202 from a man named "ricky stevens"  who said he was from the Department of Legal affairs...an action was started in my name and i need to call him back immediately..."ricky Stevens" had the heaviest indian accent i have ever heard... what ever!!!

I got the exact same message!!!  Except I understood the name to be Ricky Stevens...

Received call yesterday, said California with the same number, said lawsuit against my son.  I called back and left number for Ricky to call me back, no call back.  Saturday I called, no message nothing.

Same scam.  I just received a call from the same guy!  This was actually his second time contacting me. The first one was a couple of weeks ago.  This Ricky Stevens is up to no good.  He does have a short temper when you don't agree with him.  

We got a call today, for our son from the same Ricky Steven who said he was from the Dept. of Legal Affairs/U.S. Treasury.  202.241-8598.  This guy is still out there doing the same thing!  My husband called the # back to check & said, "This is a total scam & a fraudulent call. If you ever call back, I'll contact the FBI."  Seriously, the US. Treasury Dept. needs to follow up on this guy!!  Beware!

I just got the call myself and was a little shaken at first but got suspicious at the conversation progressed.When I answered, a woman with an Indian accent identified herself as Kristina Brown from US Treasury,Legal Affairs.She asked to speak to my husband because he is the primary and when I insisted she tell me what this was about  and that I hadn't received anything in the mail she referred me to Officer Troy Martin badge #20901.When I called that number he said he couldn't acess my account by the phone number I gave him, which was the number she had called me on. ( suspicious) He said he'd call me back. The call I got was her again, connecting me to him.When I told him I'd received nothing in writing and demanded to know the details, he told me not to interrupt me as he read said document. It was difficult to understand through his Indian accent.(suspicious) He told me that we had unpaid taxes and papers would be served and something about officers and 6 months in jail. I told him we have an accountant and we alway pay on time. He got irritated and explained there were errors in amounts that were due from years ago.I told him that we have retained our accountant for 20 years and until I receive documents I will do nothing. Then he hung up. I promptly Googled his name and title and this forum put me at ease. Thanks.

I got a call this morning, the caller name was " David Jonson", telling me i had to call Troy Martin at the fDepartment of legal affairs, that what i did, a man with a strong indian accent told me we didn't respond to legal documents they send,  but we did not receive anything, he said we  have to pay more than 4000 dollars for unpayed Taxes, he told me that we will loose job, go to prison, same things he told everybody i guess, he was very rood and super unpatient when i was asking for informations!
I knew about this kind or scamming but when it happens to you, it is still very scary.
Be carefull not to give any kind of informations  to anybody!

Just got hit by Ricky Stevens too.  Seemed fake.  Phone number he is using now is 347-927-8986.  Claimed his address is 2538 Santiago Street, Brooklyn, NY 10092.  Hope it is fake.......

I received and almost identical call today except for a few words here and there but it was a woman who said her name was Christina Brown.  The call originated from Miami, FL  phone # on caller ID was 786-231-1798 but she said to call her at 786-288-3059.  I will NOT be calling her back but will be reporting this info to the authorities.
