Same here. A recording of a man with a heavy accent threatening legal action. They have called my home too many times to count and just rang our house phone at 1140 at night! I hate them! What idiots!

I just got the same call so I BLOCKED THE NUMBER ON MY PANASONIC PHONE! It will ring once but nothing more. In the morning i will block it through my phone provider so I hear nothing at all......

I just got a call from this number.  Indian guy saying that my accounts had been frozen and leans put on my house because of back taxes.  I asked him what social # he was referring to and he got very angry and said if I did not send in my back taxes of $50,000 he would have the officers come to arrest me in 20 mins.  I asked what options I had and he told me to shut up and be compliant he was trying to help me so I would not be arrested.  I said I wanted to dispute the taxes and he just said he was sending the officers and hung up.  
Not sure how these guy's make money but I'm sure if they call someone who does not ask questions and feel intimidated they could end up sending money.  
It pisses me off that these people are allowed to engage in this behavior. I hope officers get to arrest them.  I am half tempted to call them back and say I am from the FBI, ask questions then after 60 seconds tell them we have tracked the call to their location.

Received same call from this # and also a 213/401-3070 number.  Left threatening voicemails.  Identified himself as Steve Modern or Martin from U.S. Treasury Enforcement.  Advised if I do not have an attorney, I may want to get one, a warrant will be issued for my arrest etc.  Gave the [***] a few choice words and told him you know where to find me.  Bring an army a**hole.  I had a good idea it was a scam, when I asked him ok, so what address do you have on file for me? No answer.  Ok, what's my social security #.  Said he can't share that with me. Ok what about the last four digits?  He hung up.  Tried calling him back at both #s today to bust his chops some more, but it appears the #s have been disconnected.

I said ( screw off0,and im said i have your number,and i am calling the Police about hbim. he kept calling,when i asked his name , he said dan miller,than changed his mind and gave me another. it is a scam,but my money will not go to gaza or hamas. they r out of luck.

They are scammer/extortionists calling from India.  They spoof call numbers right and left.  Ignore them.

we got the same,it is a scam. it can also go as far as terrorists soliciting money,according to the attorny grnerals office. we plan on calling his office this week. i would call the attorny generals office also.
