Be mindful that many of these callers are trolling for valid numbers to sell to phone list companies. When you answer, they have a contact worth selling. That is for the blocked numbers, and hang ups, the robo calls are telemarketers and businesses trying to sell a service. The latter will stop calling once requested, the rest there is nothing you can do but report them to FCC, Dont even answer it, just go right ahead and file a complaint. Contact your representative, and make a noise. Once they make it a felony act. The calls will stop.

The way to bust them is to buy into their program, and then sue them. They hide behind a fake caller ID so that they can circumvent the National DNC list. They will not disclose who they are. Order the program, dispute the charge on your credit card, and then report their illegal actions to the AG's office.

Yes, I got a call from this #, too.  When you answer, they do not hang up right away. After
several "hellos", they hang up.

You've probably heard this same scam from other phone numbers.  My phone provider is set up to send me a transcription of calls so I'll paste it below.  Stay a mile away from these crooks.  They prey on the fears of older people without shame.

I didn't answer and they left no message.

This is the 10th call in the pass two weeks unable to understand, do not answer now!

RECEIVED TWO CALLS ALREADY TODAY. THEY CALL EVERY DAY. DOESN'T SEEM TO BE ANYONE ON THE OTHER END OF THE PHONE WHEN YOU ANSWER. THEY NEED TO QUIT CALLING.

Just received a call from 323-546-7397, and let my answering machine pick up...they left no message.  This is so very frustrating!  Wish there was some kind of equipment that could "tell" when scammers are calling, then a LOUD bell would sound in their ear!!!  I do have a telephone answering machine that I can turn off, and caller will get a message that says, "This mailbox is unable to take messages at this time.  Please try again later.  Goodbye"...I love it!  I don't have to listen to anybody's garbage of what they have to say. Since I have caller ID, I can pick up if it is someone I want to talk to.

The caller,323-546-7379, sent was recorded message twice in one day, last time is 19:33, 02/22/2013 ," telling  Medical Alert system for senior citizen ". It is telemarketing. II didn't press #1 to continue. I returned the call later, it is a not working number. 02/23/2012.

This number has called three times in the last five days.  How do we get them to stop.

This number has been calling 3 or 4 times a day for months. I have reported them to FCC, put them on DNC, tried pressing 1 and talking to a real person but they just hang up as soon as they know you don't want their product. They use different numbers so it's hard to tell it's them until you pick up the phone and hear the "If you are a senior citizen"... the use of different prefixes is devilish because we have friends sometimes in those areas and so we pick it up. Lately they haven't called so much so maybe the reporting and the yelling into the phone is working!

Decided to listen to the recorded message for this senior offer just to see if there was an opt out opportunity. It said to press 5 if you want to be removed from their senior alert list. I pressed 5, so we will see if I get anymore calls.

Called twice on 2/20/13 ,After I picked up and hang up because of no answer they called again. The second time it went to answering machine, and they left no message.
