They call me every 3 days it seems. I answer and there's nobody on the other end. I can't stand it anymore!

Just received the same type of call regarding a medical alert button. THE PEOPLE BEHIND THESE CALLS SHOULD BE ARRESTED AND THEY'RE SCAM SHUT DOWN. Why isn't anything done about the crooks that run Senior Medical Advisory -- if that's even a real name? Outrageous!!!!

Sick of these calls every evening.  I'm on DNC list but that's a joke.  Nobody seems to care that these bozos keep harassing us.

Called me many times within a week, time wasting.  I never answer unfamiliar phone numbers. Some of telemarketer even left voice mails!

FCC wont do anything..buy a phone blocker..they call once they go on the list...did I mention that FCC is useless.

I agree with you about getting a phone blocker, but you should at least first check to see whether your phone carrier offers either anonymous or selective call blocking first.  If you have a cell phone, the carrier's service is preferable if the call blocking software blocks the call in such a manner that you still get charged for the call.

For example, if the blocking software actually answers the call and immediately hangs up (as some do or did), you may find yourself paying for a minute of airtime every time a call is blocked.  So it's worth researching your alternatives before deciding what to do.

As far as the FCC being worthless, caller ID is easily spoofed these days, and anyone with an Internet connection anywhere in the world can get what appears to be a number located right next to you, in your own area code.  See "Area Codes, Now Divorced from their Areas," by Ian Urbina, The New York Times, October 1, 2004, http://www.nytimes.com/2004/10/01/nyregion/01code.html?_r=0

So should you report the number to the FCC?  Yes, because if there are enough reports, they might think it is worth the expense to investigate.  (Provided, of course, that all their funds for doing so are not part of the latest "sequester" fiasco.) Whether or not they investigate, some method of blocking calls on your phone is still a good suggestion.

3-6-2013 Called & hung up when answering machine came on.  323-546-7397 UNKNOWN NAME shows up on the Called ID.

Called my cell, didn't answer, they didn't leave a message and we're on the do-not-call list (for a long time).

Called me twice today and I answered the last call. All I heard was static and a click. I called the number back but it was no longer in service.

I get a call late in the afternoon from this number, and there's a long winded recording using scare tactics to scam older folks to purchase a medic alert system. I pressed 1 to get someone on the line. I waited literally 1 minute and a half and some guy answers. He say's that he's agent 9 with Senior Medical Advisory. He then asks for my full name and address. I told the caller that, "I'm on the Do Not Call list. Why are you people calling me everyday?" The fuc*&% as^hole caller kept asking for my name and address! I told him to GFO! Stupid worthless pri^&*!!!!!

I find it so interesting that there's a lull from these calls, and then two weeks or so later, I get hit with all sorts of tele-scammers all at the same time. Typically the "lower your interest rates" bulls&*^. Do those cons all operate under the same syndicate or what?

I complained to the FTC about these calls from this number!!!! WHY DO THOSE PRICKS KEEP CALLING!!! THESE STUPID CALLS HAVE GOTTA STOP!!!!!

call them back from a pay phone so it costs them $0.95/call:  1-800-607-1985.  Jerk company in Orlando, FL.

These scums called me again today but they got blocked.... T Lock call blocker blocked them..they will change their number and call again...when they do I will add them to the blocked list,just like the other morons lol and that is it...1500 number capacity..I LOVE MY BLOCKER
