I got a call and they left a message that they were going to come and arrest me if I did not call them back. I have no clue who they are. This is a scam because I got another phone message yesterday from the same people but a different number. Beware of these calls.

I just got a call from this number also stating that they were going to come and arrest me, I told them do it, and when they come I'll also have someone come arrest them for fraud due to the fact that I've been getting these calls periodically over the last few weeks from different numbers but the same heavy accented India person.  I just tell them call me again an I will file my own harrasement charges and then they stop for a few weeks.

I also have gotten about 15 of these calls. I finally gave in and called them back because they kept leaving messages with my personal information on it (social security #, bank acct info, etc). Of course, I think they are a scam company. I found this excerpt:  "A real collector should provide the basics: name, company name, address and phone number.
But scammers might refuse. "Sometimes they will say 'no,' or that they've already sent the information," Smith-Valentine says. "Sometimes they'll come out and say, 'We don't have to.' But that's not true. If somebody is pushing back that hard, it should set off some red flags."
A genuine debt collector has five days from the first phone call to send you written confirmation of the debt.

I asked them for the city/state, nature of charges, company name, phone number. I was told, "I don't have to give you that information. A sheriff will be there to arrest you in the next 1-2 days."
I also asked for written confirmation of the information and was told that I would receive the written information when I received a subpeona.

I contacted my local sheriff and was advised they were probably a scam company and to advise them that they can send someone if they choose, but they will go to jail for harassment and trespassing if they come on my property.

I plan to contact the FTC, NAAG and file a report with the local sheriff.

From... wish I never would have done that..... be aware of those websites... this guy is stupid though... if no agreement is signed they can't arrest any of us or have a law suit against us

Guy keeps calling, knows my social and where I work. Threatens me with arrest, job loss, and also stated at the end of several messages that "he hopes God will protect me". I have contacted my local police and they are investigating and will issue warrant for terroristic threats and harassment. The guy scared me and verbally threatened my livelihood. Identified himself as an officer and also stated that he was with the attorney generals office.
