callerid says call from    323-879-4052 caller ID said "CONSUMER ASSIST" , blocked!!!

Robo call of woman w/what sounds like a British accent stating they have been monotoring my credit and can lower my wates, yada, yada, yada.  I've heard the same voice often.

Scam ! Trust none of these Robo bs calls . Never press 1 confirming you are a good number . Plus you guys above saying they keep calling . Just block them . Comcast online you can block 25,numbers plus my Panasonic phone . 😡

They seldom call from the same number so a call blocker doesn't do much good.
while phone was ringing with that call, a commercial was on for "lo bak trax " it looks like its made from some left over butterfly bicycle handlebars, why would you even need this device ?, just lay on your back like in the ad and just put your hands on thighs and push for free, no handlebar contraption needed, same woman was pushing that thing looked like a leftover swing seat she found a warehouse full and thought she could scam America at $40. plus shipping for something worth 99 cents, you stand on it and twist and wear a hole in your floor, the next exercise craze pick up a phone with a 5 pound weight attached, and with all these scam calls, you'll have a larger muscle in your dominant arm in no time, just $29.99 for a 5 pound brick.

We NEVER answer unknown calls - especially with a CID that reads "consumer assist."  Have now blocked their number.

Keep getting calls from this number. I must have it blocked as it rings once and then hangs up.

I haven't answered my landline showing any number that I don't recognize for OVER FOUR YEARS!!! Bust up the greedy telecom monopolies like they did to the "Ma Bells" in the 1950's. The telecoms could EASILY, SIGNIFICANTLY reduce the number of these scammer-calls if they wanted to!!! Once there is another practical way to get on the Internet besides DSL or cable, I will happily give my business (money) to that other way!!!
