Call came on landline. Number blocked. Caller ID states "Aids HLTH CARE". No reason for a call to MY number. Scam

Called landline. Left a message regarding a recent initiative in California on rent control. And something about participating in a live conference call! The caller ID was “AIDS Healthcare.”

Didn’t let it go to voicemail as the caller, aids Hlthcare, probably is a scam

Robo Spam, unsolicated calls

Caller ID showed Aids Hlthcare F, call went to voice mail and no message was left.

5/27/20 18:30 PDT Phone & ID same so didn't answer.  Recorded message left regarding some sort of rental control discussion.  Not too clear what the man was talking about.

We own our home.  We paid the mortgage off.  Obviously this is a non selective phone blast that wasn't well thought our or selectively chosen.  These types of calls should also require permission before the calls are even placed.  Let the FCC/FTC know how you feel about this.  I did.

Caller I.D. showing "AIDS HLTHCARE F". Did not pick up, no message left. Reverse lookup shows this phone number as belonging to an individual, not an organization. Likely spoofed.

This number called my landline at dinnertime yesterday, my 6th unwanted call that day.  It was the most I ever got in one day so far.

Some kind of recording played, some of which I couldn't make out or understand--it wasn't very good quality.  There was also an option to press 1 or something to participate in a live conference call about something.

When I saw the ID I thought it was going to be about raising money for their annual walks/runs but then I figured it was probably spoofed.  A lot of scammers are using well-known companies or causes to get people to answer.
