asking for another person, respresenting that i was used for reference. told them to not call here again, as i will report it as a harassing phone call with my phone company. female on the phone said, so you don't know this person. told her it didn't matter if i did or didn't, i'm not that person, so quit calling here. then i hung up as she was still running her mouth on me being a reference.

Called me by my first name and asked me about another person in the complex where I live. Told her I didn't know the person and was asked to "leave a note" on her door to get a hold of Shannon Jackson from DSC at 325-224-6107, then went on to give me 1-888-335-6267 with an Extension 6107. Looking for a "Teffi Gochenour" (yes that's the name, even asked her to spell it for me). I have never heard of this person or how she even got my phone number and first and last name. Our phone number is published but I'm not willing to get involved with leaving a note to someone I personally don't know.

Same thing happened to me. Called asking someone in the neighborhood, very pushy. Starting asking question, she seem suspicious. I hung up. Called back trying to get more info about business, she hung up on me. Watch out for caller

They are NOT allowed to call for you at work if you tell them it is not permitted.

They are not allowed to harass by calling you repeatedly.

There is someone with a similar name as mine who does owe someone money and they call me trying find him. I can always tell when they sell off that debt to a different collector because the calls start all over and with a different person.

They started using robo dialers, I think, because my phone will ring and hang up as soon as the answer box kicks in. That happens about 8-10 times a day. I called my phone company and told them I want a copy of the incoming phone numbers because half the time the numbers are blocked. I can't call them to order them to cease and they know what they are doing.

I'll find out who it is if I have to make a report with the police. You can do the same.
