got a call from this number right after I answered a call from what I suspect was a fishing call to see if my number was a working number. When I called it back, it said "press 1 to be removed from our calling list" I did so. We'll see what happens.

i keep getting calls from this number,  one right after another I don't know this number,    second time they left a message,,   robot call  say may i speak to the head of house hold,  after that no more   SCAM SCAM STOP CALLING ME

Hung up after 2 rings without leaving a message. Most likely spoofed number trying to get personal info to prove you purchased something using your own voice.

From someone claiming to be a law enforcement charity.  Wants money to support families of "fallen" officers.  Not likely.  And I believe he said he was a professional solicitor, which tells me less than 10% of money collected will be used to help anyone but the solicitors.   And the organization behind this SCAM is something called CUSTOMERSERVICENOW2016.  This group has called me for charities, pain managment, credit cards, medical insurance, etc, etc.  Appears to be professional frauds.  But no one online seems to know who they are or where they operate.  I cannot believe our government allows this group to exist.  But they've been going for years.  And probably will continue for years more.
