Debt collector

This number called claiming to be a bank out of Utah, but the number shows it is out of Canton, Ohio.

The Caller ID said "Synchrony" (as in Synchrony Bank), but I was immediately suspicious & didn't answer. They left a recorded message, saying that the call was about PayPal "Extras" (?) MasterCard, asking that I contact them by dialing a 1-866 number. I'm still suspicious and have no intention of calling them back, checking out their website, or contacting them by mail at the Draper, Iowa, address they gave.

See my initial comment above. Correction: I listened to the recorded message again, and realized that the location address they gave was in Draper, Utah, not Draper, Iowa.

They call me 5-6 times a day but never leave a message. I picked up once and it was a lie recited message about having latepayments on a PayPal card that I have already paid off. I have no intention of contacting this number again.

Synchrony CS Rep told me that "Linda" is their Auto predicagive dialer program. They call you, if you're late on a payment. I just verified this on  Wed. Aug. 8, 2018.. I'm in WI. I don't know if number is related, but it's on my phone a few times. I was behind a week and after talking to them, directly, she took me off the autobdisler program and this number stopped calling. The Parent Company is in Utah, but call center/Collections appears to be somewhere else. It's probably a legal thing about location. I hope this helps.

Paypal is being sneaky. If they can't get you on their 866 number, they will try form this number. Guess what, blocked it too!

This was a legitimate call from my PayPal credit card account

They call me every two hours on the dot during allowed hours, which I now block as an unknown caller.(No blood from a turnip right! I'll pay as soon as I can- stop the harassment!) but I will let all know this # is used for legitimate attempts to collect a debt owed to PayPal's MasterCard which is operated by Synchrony Bank.

They called me multiple times today. I was suspicious right away. The woman said that I am late on my payment and needed to pay today to bring the bill current. I never make payments over the phone because I do not give out any information over the phone so I told her I would pay online tonight. I checked online and she was right about the amount owed, but the due date isn't for more than 2 weeks. Seems shady to me.

Seems like if it’s legit,  the caller ID would be more indicative to who’s calling.  I’m sure these folks make
Plenty of money that they don’t have to have a cheap auto dealer that does not indicate who’s calling.  Ive told them they have the wrong number but they call from another number later in the day.  I guess I need to send a letter saying to stop calling my number as my number somehow is on the account of the dead beat.

I keep getting at least 3 calls a day saying I missed a payment which is BS I have proof that it has been paid.
