Left a message claiming to be BMO Harris Bank

Said their from BMO HARRIS bank today, last week it was for a security system.

left a message requesting I call BMO Harris at an 866 number (not affiliated obviously with BMO Harris) "for an important business matter"

Have gotten at least 2 calls from this number stating it is BMO Harris Bank saying we need to call back about an urgent matter. The number they give to call back is not associated with BMO Harris

Second call received from this number, said I needed to call BMO Harris for a very important message regarding my account.  The message rattled off an 866 number and the line went dead.  I called BMO Harris and informed them I had been receiving these calls, the guy I talked to indicated it was probably a phishing call.

Received a call from this number, stating they were BMO Harris, and to call a different number for an important matter.  I contacted my local BMO Harris, they said there is nothing of any concern with my accounts, and they did not call me.

I believe it is BMO Harris.  I have a mortgage with them and if you are one (1) day past the due date, they start calling/harrassing you.  I just ignore them.  
They get a nice penalty payment for late pays anyway, so they should just shut up and leave good customers alone.  <30 days past due is not a deadbeat in this economy and everyone knows that.

So true, I've received several calls from this number.  Never leaving a message.  I do not answer unless I know the number.  I to have a mortage with them...come on - in this economy they are lucky I'm only a week or two late.

Guys - several of us got the same call but we dont have mortgages with BMO - it is NOT BMO Harris bank > you should ignore and/or report them

Keep getting calls from this number . I don,t answer then I only get part of a message (686 regarding an important business matter). Started getting several junk calls after transferring my number from verizon to a another carrier. Was with verizon for over 10 years and never got any junk calls. Did verizon leave my number out to these vouchers or is it my new carrier?

Received two phone calls from this number, they left no message.  Finally called the number and it said it was the 'collections' department of BMO Harris bank..

Just plain annoying. No message and I am on the no call list.

Got a call from this number. Claiming to be from BMO Harris bank. Asking information to verify the accounts. I asked the caller to identify herself first. Asked her few questions.

Which is the branch I opened my account.
What year I opened my BMO Harris bank account.
How many account I have with BMO Harris.

Not surprisingly she could not answer any of the questions. Fake calls. Unsuspecting individuals may land up giving their account details. Easily these group of criminals can order a fake check book and fake ID to fraud.  

Please be careful not to divulge your information on the phone if someone happens to ask for bank details.

Got the same call. I called the real BMO and they did not call me. I don't have a mortgage. The only way my card and cell number are connected is when I used it to pay my cell bill. I never gave my new cell number to BMO so they coulcn't have been calling about my account. IT IS A SCAM. Bmo representativeis reporting the number and they made a not e on my account. I suggest the rest of you who got called contace BMO and make the same report immediately to protect yourselves.

Scam!!

I got a call a day for like 4 days in a row, then nothing for a week, now another one today. I was actually in my bank recently and have no issues with any of my accounts. Think about this: if your bank really needed to talk to you, they would simply call you. They would not call you from one number and ask you to call back on another. This has SCAM written all over it.

This number has called me quite a few times over the past couple weeks and has left no messages. Scam, indeed.
