Some dude called at 9 this morning in Spanish. I told him I don't speak Spanish and he hung up!

This guy called in Spanish asking for money but I asked him questions and he couldn't answer and he eventually hung up on me... Be careful, he is just looking for people to give him information to steal.

This dude called from mexico saying he was my cousin and i almost gave him my dad's cellphone number but my brother answered just in time and told him off

A man who spoke Spanish also called us saying they were our relative and asked for a place to stay. Later, he called back saying he had gotten in an accident and needed to borrow $800. BE CAREFUL, IT IS A FRAUD!

Typical Scam: they look up potentially speaking last names and then they call up pretending to be related and asking for money. My suggestion is to just put them on hold and let them wait....and wait...

Today this morning a man start to talk to my dad and is faking to be  my husbands brother that comes from mexico coming to visit my children. And I called to mexico but nobody is  coming over here. And insist my dad to bring him to my house. My dad made ​​the mistake of giving them my phone number be very careful when they call you from this number.

This guy keeps calling my mom stating he is her cousin is coming to visit for black friday! this is a total scam!!!!

this number called my moms house saying they were my cousins from Mexico and they wanted to come spend new years with us. it was very strange............

This A.M. Spanish speaking guy said my name and mentioned Maria, I asked you he was and what Maria was he talking about, , there are millions of Maria's,  don't give out any info

Spoofed number from Illinois.

This man called my Moms house and said he was my cousin and he wanted to come down and give my Mom a new year hug and chat, asked for the address and then later on he called saying that he was in an accident and he wanted $400 and she told him she didn't have money and the line went dead. Don't answer!

ESTA PERSONA TAMBIEN  ME LLAMO HACIENDO PASAR TAMBIEN POR FAMILIAR. POR FAVOR HAGAN ALGO POR QUE UNO NO SABE QUE TIPOS DE PERSONAS SON ESTAS.

My dad received a call by a man from this number very early this morning. He claims he was his nephew and was in need of some money. My dad did not release any information but kept the man on the phone, asking him questions in an attempt to identify him. He then said he would call back later. He did call back and I answered. He was calling me prima (cousin). I of course was questioning him more. He said he was from Mexico but was in San Jose at the moment. My dad is from El Salvador....... He ended up disconnecting the call when I became harsh with my tone. I attempted to call  back the number but it won't go through. DO NOT RELEASE INFORMATION TO THIS MAN...INSTEAD ATTEMPT TO GET AS MUCH INFORMATION OF HIS WHEREABOUTS AND REPORT HIM!!!!!!!!!

I got a call today. My mom picked up. The same type of techniques. I tried calling back the number but the number did not go through. I will report to FBI. This needs to stop.

This man called my house sayin that he was part of the family from Mexico. We kept asking who it was and he kept trying to keep us guessing his name. Once he noticed that we weren't willing to guess his name he panicked and hung up.

Today I got a call from a supposed nephew from Mexico he sounded very friendly but would not say his name. He kept saying don't you recognize me don't you remember me aunt.  I thought he was my husbands nephew and I said are you so and so he said yes then he said he was coming tomorrow from Mexico to buy a truck and had 18000 bucks.  He asked me to pick him up at a near by airport asked for my cell number and said he would call back the next day when he arrived.  I pretty much fell for it but then confirmed it was a hoax.  I decided to change my phone numbers.
