Received this call on 6/2/10 at 08:34 P.M. from 336-217-0877, they asked me if I was the person they were interested in and then they hung up the phone. Research indicated it was from a section of Time Warner Communication in NC. Attempts to call this number resulted in a message that stated your call did not go through.

I got one of these calls at my business today. Let it go to the answering machine and no message was left. As for the caller-id spoofing, that is entirely likely because once at home we received a call that said "ABC Liquors" on the box, which is an actual business just a few blocks from our home and it had their actual phone number, but upon answering the call someone said they can lower our credit card rates! When asked which card that would be, they hung up. The really screwy thing is I bought something at that store a couple of weeks before that and used a credit card to pay for it...

As for the DNC, crooks are not going to abide by it, and if you are one of the poor schmucks that owns a small business, the DNC doesn't apply (for all you out there that keep screaming I'm on the DNC!)

They asked for my boss by name. She said she was Sandra from Quest Surveys. When I told her the pastor did not take phone surveys she said she would call back later and rudely hung up.

Just answer all of their questions in robot voice.  It will get rid of them.

I have a new cell number and just love getting my minutes used up by telemarketers.  I had both the 217-0877 and this number 336-574-3000 on my phone history.  I was able to find this information about the company when I searched under the 574-3000 number:  The Telephone Centre (TTC Research) 336 574-3000: 336-217-0877.  They have office hours, 9-5:00.  Sic 'em!

No one likes or wants you, or your "services."  You are a bottom dweller, and I can sense even you know this by your defensive response.  If you were providing a valuable service, this situation would not exist.  Maybe it's time YOU woke up, and found something a little more profound to do with your life, other than getting around the letter of the law by calling yourself a "survey taker" rather than what you really are, which I we all know what that is.  Right?

called at 4:35pm,they left no message on machine.Caller ID say's Private Name.I too am on both State and national Do Not call list as well I have unlisted number.

"Frustrated" is NOT an Employee of and has NOTHING Whatsoever to do with whoever is using this number to harass people.  He is just another Sh*t his pants Troll who is getting some kind of kick out of taking your abuse.  Maybe he was not given enough love by his parents or has some severe lack in his personality.  This number is used by several different companies who are Debt Collectors or surveyers.  The " hang ups" are the Debt Collector types who just use it to harass.  The BEST thing any of you can do with "Frustrated" is IGNORE him!  We need to make him live up to his name.

Since 6-14-10, I've been receiving on average of 2 calls a day from 336-217-0877 listed as Private Caller.  I answered the phone the first time not realizing who was calling and asked the caller to please remove my number from their calling list.  The caller told me she could not and hung up.  I have regretted picking up the phone ever since because they consistently call around meal times (lunch and dinner).  I have blocked the calls from my phone but it's still annoying because the calls continue to come.

Called on Sprint Network -- Left no message and is not a known number.

Silence and repeated calls...very annoying.

They have called me 7 times since in 2 days; no message.  Once I answered and the caller wanted to know if any Hispanics lived in the house.  I told them I did not want to participate in any surveys, and to please remove my number from their call list.  The result 7 additional calls in 2 days with no message.  What's wrong with the FTC and the phone companies ?  I am ready to disconnect as there are "others companies" that are out of control. This is outrageous.

No message is left, but it does sound as if an "open" voice line is hanging up or disconnecting the call on their end.
When I call it back this is the message:
"We're sorry, your call did not go through. Please try your call again later. TWT 9"

This is probably true...I have had it happen to our 1-800 number and actually had to disconnect it after having it for our business for 10 years.  It is almost impossible to get it fixed.

Got a call from this number. tried to call them back, and it says the call cannot go thru?????????who are these people and what do they want?

just answer Attorney Generals office.....it works.

I have an unpublished unlisted number as well as on the no call list but yet get more than my fair share of phone calls.... charter.net sells your phone numbers at least they did mine
1 week after I got my new phone service I counted in a months time 35 annoying telemarketers they callers actually ask for me by name! So how can charter sit there and tell me they never gave out my number!!!!!
I keep telling these [***] to stop calling and it does not good charity or not leave me alone!
