    Received a call from this number and they did not leave a message.  The caller ID name display showed "CANCER COUNCIL".  I have never heard of this organization so it is probably a scam.  Blocked.

    So, Christine with the “Cancer Council”(?) called from this number ‭+1 (337) 242-8977‬, and didn’t leave a message. I called back, beings I’m in the 337 area code, and she lets me know that they can mail me an envelope for my donation, which benefits women with low income, who can’t afford treatment for breast cancer. So, I proceed to tell her that I am a low income, two time breast cancer survivor.... Then I hear “Click!” How rude! 😡

    So, if Christine calls asking for money for a bogus charity, let her know she pissed me off!
