A statement was recently mailed to ___. If we can assist you, please call 833-250-9506. Refer to account # 230*** "Reply STOP to opt out."

Same experience as above, called them and got no information, kept me on hold until I hung up.

Received unsolicited text stating:

A statement was recently mailed to [father's name who does not live with me]. If we can assist you, please call 833-457-4087. Refer to account # 300736 "Reply STOP to opt out."

Scam being run out of Charlotte, NC and Kenmore, NY. Multiple groups claim to be lawyers, court officials and process servers who can't provide a valid address.

Oakmont LLC is the company that tries to take your payment if you say you can't take the harassment anymore and agree to pay.

sage@oakmontgroupllc.com offered to stop the harassment in return for the tidy sum of$1,000.

Various people using this number phone or text me asking for David Needham. They have been doing this to me for 7-8 years. I have repeatedly told them I don’t know this person and asked them to stop calling me. They continue to persist. They also call asking for someone with my husband’s name. In both cases they say it’s in regard to a legal matter but do not provide any other information (like their business name, address, call back number, supervisor, CEO, etc.)

I rec'd a text saying: "A statement was recently mailed to ___________ (my ex-husband, I divorced 34 yrs ago). If we can assist you, please call 877-595-9317. Refer to account #272694. Reply STOP to opt out" I replied STOP. Then I got another text message saying: "Lonestar Business Solutions: You will no longer receive messages from this service. Reply RESUME to subscribe. Contact officemanager@lbsllconline.com" Then I blocked both numbers and that email address.

Did some digging ...found out there was a data breach with Lonestar Business Systems, which processes payroll for restaurants all over the country. They inappropriately disposed of sensitive personnel info for thousands of restaurant employees (just threw old files in the dumpster, upon closure of their Wichita offices). Totally makes sense to me as I was married to a restaurant manager who worked for 5 different establishments during the course of our relationship. Scam debt collector

I received a text message from this number..."...please contact us promptly at 844-478-8989 to assess payment solutions and avert further steps. Ignoring this message may result in escalated measures.  Please Refer to account # ******" Reply Stop to opt out.

When I replied stop, a new message popped up..."Lonestar Business Solutions: You have opted out and will no longer receive messages from this service. Reply Resume to subscribe. Contact officemanager@lbsllconline.com.

I looked up Lonestar Business and found one page where it was said to be a scam.  I hope this information is helpful to others.
