Who is this?

They said they were from Microsoft and they needed in my computer because there was alot of registry errors

Caller id said New York, did not leave message.

Nice man from an outsourced call center says my computer wasn't accepting Microsoft updates. He said he was a Certified Microsoft Support Specialist. He told me to go turn on my computer so he could help me update my PC. I told him I had an Apple and he said sorry and told me to have a nice day.
A coworker got the same call recently and they managed to charge him $100. Poor man is slow, that's not cool.
I was using the internet on my cell when the call came in, it was a different number initially then changed to this number, which leads me to believe they're using one of those systems that keeps you from knowing their true phone number. I forget what it's called.

this number kept calling me but not leaving a voicemail. When I called it back a man with a heavy accent answered and claimed he was a microsoft certified technician, then asked for my information to look up my account. I asked him if he was a scammer and he just repeated his, I'm a tech, speech. I then accused him of it and told him not to call or I would report him and he hung up on me.

I also just got a call from this number stating my Microsoft Computer was not accepting my antivirus and i needed to get to my computer right away so the guy on the phone could help me fix the issue.  DO NOT STAY ON THE PHONE WITH THESE PEOPLE !!!!

Just got a call from this [***], claiming to be a Microsoft tech, they are a scam to get information from you!.....do not be on the phone with them do not even say a damm word to them!!!!.......just hang up!!!!!!

This number called me yesterday but I did not answer I called again today and I answered and they immediately hung up.

I have been get this call for the past 2 weeks about Microsoft. Most likely a scam.

Caller claiming to be from microsoft, wanting to 'fix' my computer.  Caller had a strong accent.

Well I just got the same call... I hung up after yelling at them telling them tehy were scammers and liars...  I guessed it, then came here... thanks

They called me today saying my windows computer, was going into a website or something I did not understand the guy very well because of his accent. When I told him I did not have a windows computer he said sorry I must have the wrong number and hung up.

Clearly telemarketers, calling from "....software support".  I told them to get a real job and that they are telemarketers.  He hung up on me...I got a similar call today at work.  These people need to be stopped....

Received this number 347-349-5349 (Id shows from New York) call me, don't answer stranger calls, google and find out it's scammer, add to reject list.

A man called me asking for Joe and I told them they had the wrong #. He proceeded to ask me if I had diabetes and I told him no.  Then he asked me if anyone in my family had diabetes.  At that point I told him I don't talk to strangers and he said "okay" and then terminated the call.

got a msg from same number saying it was IRS.  call received Sat Memorial Day weekend.. Man, if anybody is working that day it is not a federal employee.  sheesh what morons!

Keep a list of these fraud-scumbags by phone number. When they call again insult them. They need something to wear their hides down. Let them know that you know they are liars and thieves.
