It is Victor at fotoconnection and he will continue to harrass you and harrass you.  Read online reviews of fotoconnection.com and see what an unscrupulous person this person is.  He will not leave you alone and will not allow you to cancel your order, threaten to charge up all sorts of stuff to your credit card and cuss at you too.  DO NOT ANSWER this ever unless you enjoy abuse.  Fast talking lying hard sales for stuff you don't need or want.

    Harassed
This is a phone number from Fotoconnection.  This call basically entailed the push to buy accessories like long-life batteries, long term warranties, by continuing to ramble on and on about the need to protect the camera and other components from damage.  Basically, they use bully tactics to get the consumer to purchase extras that aren't needed.  Company should be reported to Better Business Bureau for harassing calls.

    Unbelievable
This is unbelievable...they won't quit harassing me after I have pleaded...continue to call ME rude!  I will never order from fotoconnection again.  This has been the worst purchase I have ever made on-line.  I WILL report to BBB.

    Same here
Tom from Fotoconnection is now calling me because I do not want to place my order.  He says that this is what we do, "we screw people."  He was pushing me to buy the warranty and I did not want to.  Once he sent me an email confirmation, he asked I reply to the email authorizing the charge on the credit card.  I said I needed to review it and he got pissy.  Now he claims he has lawyers that will get my money from American Express.

Just got a call from this number but didn't answer.
I have a policy of never answering calls from numbers I do not know.
If it is important they can leave a message.

I also got an email from Fotoconnection asking me to call, ask for Tom and confirm my order, so I did.

He taughted the extended warranty which I refused.
The product comes with one full year warranty.
I charged the product on my American Express.
American Express doubles Factory Warranties so I have two years of warranty.
As far as I am concerned that is enough warranty for me.
After reading your posts, I am thankful I purchased on American Express.
American Express is a good company to deal with when you are dealing with merchants.
As it turns out, the caller was female and left a message that my order would be delivered tomorrow !
It was supposed to take 7 to 14 days but I am happy to settle for next day delivery.
As much as I did not like the "you must buy the extended warranty" tactics, the price was good and now if they deliver it tomorrow and it is in perfect shape, I will be a happy camper.

Successfully cancelled order. But continuing to receive harassing phone calls - average 4/week.

New York BBB has over 300 complaints for Fotoconnection.com including harassment, bait-n-switch, fast-talking high pressure sales, bogus non-published insurance and warranty surcharges, misleading product descriptions, false and misleading testimonials, warranty non-performance, backdated invoices (to prevent/negate legitimate returns), un-authorized price adjustments, restocking fees for returned merchandise when the incorrect item was shipped, multiple credit card charges for the same item, and counterfeit product substitutions (the Canon camera accessories you thought you ordered might really be a Cannon camera).

Camera ordered from that place on sale. (509.00) Salesman called to upgrade
for $300.00 extra.(still I see no problem). But once I received an E mail
after, with a contract over the Internet requiring my signature and
approval to surrender all my rights as a consumer in the event that the
product was defective or if I tried to return the merchandise as damaged.
I cancelled the order. And the calls began from 1-3473502068

Hi Everyone, I just wanted you all to know that I have been going through the same issues with these people! They will NOT leave me alone! So, I logged in to my online account and "updated" my profile...meaning I DELETED my phone number and address from their records. Hopefully this will put an end to the phone calls! Can't hurt to try!

I just received a call from this number.  Since I have one of those touch screen phones, I hung up on the caller accidentally when I retrieved the phone from my pocket.  Not recognizing the number, I looked it up, and found it here.  It belongs to AppliancesConnection (where I had just placed an order for an appliance, and they had the least expensive price of all I surveyed by far, which was quite alot of surveying, including shipping).  So I called, and the individual was EXTREMELY nice.  I asked about FotoConnection, and they said it was a subsidiary of theirs.  I asked about Victor, and the guy said he doesn't work there anymore.  I related what I had read here, and he remarked that such is probably the reason that Victor no longer works there.

Don't fear this number anymore.  They are very nice.
