Got a prerecorded call from this number claiming to be from the Dept of Treasury. I assume this is a crank call. They wanted me to call them back but I'm too wary esp since numbers do not match. Just want to put this out there for others to be aware of.

They said I could be arrested if I didn't call back, so I did.  No answer.

Received pre-recorded message that there are legal issues and the recepient or his attorney should call back.  It is obviously a fraudulent call. Did not call back.

Got a call from this number. Don't call back. Obviously a fraudulent number. I called back, they talked to me, and then hung up.

Received a call from this number yesterday. Computerized call. Said it was the Dept.of the Treasury. If there was no response, could be arrested. Definitely not calling back! Looking at the DotT site, they would not be the ones calling.

yes,  i got the same call this morning regarding my husband.  these people should be stopped.  

they call me three time i answer they say you own money to irs  federal gorement  3500 hundard is you do not you could be arrested in 20 minute  if you solve this matter right now you pay only 3500 is you go in court  you pay 25000 dollar they could you arrested today stay in jail for 72 hour before go federal court by friday

call was from "Sheriff County, New York"

They left a message saying it was officer Maxwell and if I don't get back to them I will be arrested! Lol stupid scammers! I'm so sick of these calls! How do we report them?
