Called and left an unintelligible voicemail message.

Rang twice then hung up. CID displayed "S RICHMOND HL NY.   I blocked the number.

They call a couple times a day don't say anything then hang up

Came up New York call.  Indian guy who said his name was "Adam.  It sounded like he was in a very loud call center somewhere in India.  He was calling about "Internet error computer".  I asked him for my IP address and surprisingly he didn't hang up.  Gave me some [***] IP address then hung up when I asked him about his "Brooklyn accent".  I called back and it went straight to a poorly done voicemail.  Usually these are auto-generated numbers, so I will be calling back often.  I love [***] with these guys.

they try to give a website called teamviewer and that basically lets you give them access to your computer and they tell you that your computer is slow when in reality it isn't and they say things like, "we noticed your computer has some suspicious activity on it". I know they do this because my grandpa was a victim to these scammers. He doesn't know jack about computers and me knowing about them and used to work on them, I saw right through their crap.

I played like my computer was slow and they tell you to click and hold the windows key and press the "R" key and type  microsoft.aios.us in the command bar. This will take you to a FAKE COUNTERFEIT SITE and tell you to click on 3 different icons. DO NOT CLICK ON THEM!!!!!

Basically, they PLANT A VIRUS ON YOU and then CHARGE YOU!!! DO NOT fall for this crap!!!

indian accent wanted me to check my computer

Answered phone. They said I was having trouble with error messages on my computer. I said. I do not have a computer, she quickly hung up.

I play with them for awhile, but really hate that they are trying to scam unsuspecting people!

Left no message  --- just as well; I only would have goofed on them if they had.

I just answered this call.  Couldn't understand a thing the female said, because it sounded like "celery moss" to me.  Anyway, I told them no and to quit calling.  I will literally kick their [***] if they don't.

Tried calling back to see what would happen. Got message the number is not in service

Anton, I know you're frustrated but the best way to stop these scammers is to take control of your phone.  If you have a landline get a call blocker.  They are inexpensive and work very well.  If the scammers are calling your cell, download a call blocking app.  800 notes has many discussions about the pros and cons of different models of call blockers.  Just put "call blockers" or "call blocking apps" into the search box and you'll find several forums.  You can always come to 800 notes and look up numbers that appear on your call blocker to see if there is any information about the caller.  YOU are the only one who can stop unwanted calls to your phone.  No one at 800 notes can do that for you.

I had the identical situation except that they planted a start up password in my computer and whitened up my screen after I refused to pay $55/year virus protection software. The words turned into very threaten tone, saying that, You want your computer to crash? Ok, you got it! These guys are criminals. Now, my computer is dead as well without password.

Indian accent claimed to be Microsoft guy waned to fix your computer for free, once they gained access to your computer they planted a Trojan which required password to regain your computer back unless you agreed to pay $55 annually for their bogus antivirus software, if not, you are doomed! I hope they get caught!

From some call center in India.  Hard time understanding him.  Person said that my computer was sending out some error code and he can guide me through the process of correcthing the error.  I hung up after this.

They left a msg on vm...kind of...sounded as tho they were in a crowd. Could not make out any voices or words.  Then 5 loud bangs that sounded lie gunshots.  WTF??

After several rings (long enough to look the number up here!) I lifted and dropped the receiver to disconnect, before their robo-person could detect a voice mail opportunity.

Another day for these spoofing,spamming and cloning idiots! Calling all the time and hanging up when answered ! Using VOIP to spoof their numbers! They will be reported to FTC for electronic communications harassment.
