This person called my elderly mother in Fla telling her she had won $7000.00.  She asked for his number and name and she would call him back.  He gave her this # and the name Frank Miller.  I called the # and he said he was in Washington, DC and didn't call anybody yet when I asked for his name at the beginning of the call he said it was Frank Miller.  With the heavy accent I didn't get the full name of who he worked for but what I could understand was "United Grand ______________".

I received the same call from this number stating government grant in the amount of $7500.

This person named Frank Miller called me, he had quite an accent. He said that he is calling from Government Grants and I will get $7,000 if I go to Western Union and call him when I get there.  Well I did that and he had me fill out a Money Tranfer form to send him $260.00 to get the $7,000.  When he went through the form for the transfer in the box for receiver info he had me put the name Rupinder Pal Singh, and in the state box he had me put Indonesia.  So I asked him about the rest of the address and he said it did not need to be filled out.  I questioned sending money to Indonesia for a USA Government Grant.  He got angry and told me to send the money.  The more questions I asked the angrier he got.  I asked him if I could think about this and call him back in a couple of days, again got angry and said he will just give the money to someone else.
I will be contacting the FBI.

I got their call and then called the real grant office in
DC and gave them the number and name of the people.

I got the call on 07/10/2012, received a security code and the call back number 347 480 1548, and was told to call Lenny Brown of American Grants.
I called on 07/11/2012 and was told to make a security deposit of $260 cash at the nearest Western Union office. I would then call Lenny and they would send me back $7,260.00 within max. 30 minutes.

this frank miller guy told me the same thing that if i gave $260 i would recieve $7000 then after he transaction was done he says that my state is a non tax free state so now i have to pay another $730 supposedly for state taxes due to it being a larger amount than $5000. this guy and this company whoever they are are full of crap all the way around,and i pray that noone else gets caught up the same way and falls for it.

I recieved a call from an unknown caller, very heavy accent. I was told I was picked to receive a government grant for $7,000.00. They said I needed to go to a Western Union. Also asked what type of ID I would be using, so I said my drivers license. They told me I first had to call Frank Miller, and to call him Mr. Frank, I was also given a so called applicant code # of TR 588. Sounds like a scam to me. I asked for the callers name & they wouldn't give it to me. I am not going to roped in by these scammers.
They need to get a real job and quit trying to scam people out of their hard earned money.

They tried that crap with me, I googled the number before I wasted time calling, glad I did. It's a load of bull.

These same people called my friend , i did some digging for him and founf out this is international. I also called the FBI to complain and they said there are many people being affected by this situation Do not fall for this you will never see your money or the $7000 the scary part was these people know he just had a baby and his name and his wifes name and all thier info.

Received the same call and was told I had been selected by the government to receive a $7000 grant.  they repeated government several times in the call.  gave me a conf number and the number 347 480-1548 number to call the mgr a Frank Miller  I called the number like a fool and this frank miller with very heavy accent asked if I was calling about a grant and when I asked him want the grant was all about he simply hung up on me. Then I googled the number and saw all this  I will report it the the fraud dept of FBI

I just got off the phone with three people. I didn't get the guys name because of his strong accent. He told me that I have been chosen to receive a $7000 Grant from the government. He wanted to know my age and if I was happily married. I told him over the age of 21. Then I asked him why he needed information, he said to make sure I am the correct person who was elected for this money. I told him that I will provide that with my drivers license when I go to Western union. He said ok. He gave me a confirmation # and this phone number and I needed to ask for William. When I called 347-480-1548 the same strong accented man answered. He informed then that I needed to go to any western union to pick up my money, but first I needed to send him $250 dollars to receive my money. I kinda chuckled and said I need to give you $250 dollars to get my money. I said I don't think so. He oh ok and hung up. LOL I find it amazing on how those Indonesian people think we as Americans are that billable.

Just happened to me this morning. A lady called with a thick accent and explained this grant to me. She then gave me the number 347 480 1548 and said to ask for frank miller. When I called, this guy answered the phone "hello". First of all our US treasury office would not answer like that ever. I kinda went along with it for a minute to see what he said..when I questioned him and told him this was a scam he just simply hung up. I contacted the authorities and gave them the phone number and name so they could further investigate. It sickens me that this goes on daily and they really think they are going to take my hard earned money!

I just got off the phone with one of these guys too, he said his name was Kenny Lol. but i googled the number while in conversation and ended up here :D It;s a scam!!!

I immediately recognized that it was a BS call when the number display came up all zeros. I have been getting a ton of phone calls from 'United Pharmacy' trying to sell me Viagara or Cialis. Anyway, I decided to have some fun with this clown. I do a pretty good hairlip immitation (sorry if I offended anyone), I used this voice, and got the same scam that everyone else is reporting. I have won a grant of $7000 yada yada yada. The voice had a foreign accent that I couldn't quite place. It was somewhat similar to the Indian accents of the United Pharmacy callers, but not quite. I continued to have him repeat himself over and over just to frustrate him, and asked him repeatedly when would I get my money. He had given me this number to call in order to speak to his 'accountant'. It got to the point that I think he was desperate to get rid of me. He had asked my age and I replied 12, then he wanted to know if I was working or retired as well as my marital status. WHAT A MORON! I asked if his accountant was going to give me the money. He said that I had to go to Western Union. I excitedly said that I'd go right now, and hung up. He called right back, but I didn't answer, so he left a voicemail. I'll check that after I post this. DON'T ANYONE SEND THESE SCAMMERS ANY MONEY!

Yeeehawww! I think I got him mad (read my previous post if you don't know what I mean). When I checked the voicemail that he left, he just kept repeating, "You f****r, You MFer and You SOB. Naturally, I am abbreviating, not him. Score 1 for the good guys.

and give the conf # TR588. So I look here and found that it is BS. How come the FBI didn't work to find

called them and said i already deposited the cash he got pissed at me and said i did it wrong hung up and disconnected my number
