i recd a call from us grants dept in washington dc claiming that i was picked to receive 9000.00 us dlrs

they told me to call this number and they would send the money via western ubion.i thind this bs

I got the same call. Can I sue for false hope? lol. So it's been decided that this is officially a scam?

I received a call from a private number telling me I was chosen for a $9,000 grant to be received by western union today. The man on the phone  didn't speak english very well and told me to call his account manager Claudia Smith at 347-480-2086, who will issue me my $9,000 via western union after giving my conformation code he rgave me.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!! It is a scam! You should never have to pay $ to get "free" $. I knew right away this was a scam. They said I was eligible to get $9000. Western union. I had to give them $ 250. though. NOT!!
