A collections call. Did not Identify company only a name to call and a number. Claims all attemps to collect have been exhausted, but does not identify creditor of collections company.

This is likely a scam. They leave a vague message, the target calls back, then they attempt to badger the unsuspecting into sending them something of value. It’s a good bet they would want the alleged “debt” paid in Google Play gift cards or iTunes gift cards. In reality, the “debt” does not exist. It’s usually a good idea to simply ignore these calls. A genuine debt collector will send a letter in the mail and will provide specific details and evidence regarding an alleged debt.
