This guy named "George" contacted me by text because he said he was deff & could not talk to my over the phone. He contacted me about something i was selling on craigslist. BEWARE this is a SCAMMER!! He said he lived 4hrs away & would send a agency to come pick up this item. He said he will be paying via fed ex 2 day express & would include the amount it cost for item + movers fee in this check. He wanted me to cash deposit this check into my checking account then take the money back out for the movers. NOTE: My item that i was selling on craigslist was only $300 & New in stores they are like $600. He sent a check for close to $2000. I figured it was a scam because there were lots of clues. My item was also listed as a local pick up only. I verified with my bank that it was a scam & they directed my to the police, but the police can not do anything about this stuff. They can not trace it or get finger prints, so they just shredded for me. SO PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR POSTING & ALWAYS PRINT OUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER & PUT STAR IN IT OR SOMETHING.
