Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Received a call on my home phone from 347-501-7188.  The guy said he was from IRS and needed to speak to my husband. He had a Middle Eastern accent and I could barely understand him. Ask him what the IRS needed with my husband and he said he could only talk to him.  I ask him where he was located because he did not sound legitimate and he said New York.  Not even 30 minutes later he called my husbands cell phone and was asking for his number to look up on a list. My husband said if you are the IRS then you would know the number and refused to tell him and hung up the phone.

And he said his name was Sean Marks.

Rcvd call fr 210-301-0307 (Texas) - message was fr a Mr. Baker claiming tb IRS looking for my dtr - they had her name

Just - 10 min ago - got a call from another #, begin with 246 (i deleted it) and an SMS message from this 347-502-7188. I turned off voice mail long ago. But message was, i think, in some other language, not in English, all squares instead of letters. I onece received SMS from my friend from Russia and there where same symbols...This is of course some fraud..
