A recorded message (in a robotic female voice) stated that the Internal Revenue Service has filed a lawsuit against me.  The message stated further that my "retained attorney of recourse" needs to return the call to 347-535-0602 in order to learn about my "IRS Case File" and provide an answer to the lawsuit.

Simply put, the caller is a fraudster who is looking to get my personal identification and defraud creditors in my name.

347-535-0602 was assigned by Level 3 Communications, LLC.  It is NOT a phone number belonging to the Internal Revenue Service.

I am receiving multiple calls per day from this number and a robot fwemale voice says the IRS is suing me. Can someone do something about this?

received a call saying they were the   irs   and  wantd  9403.00 or I would go to jail in  2  hours..

Just got called a few minutes ago and checked here to see what's this one's about. Got my notification that I have a voice message.  It's probably the same partial that I have to delete.  White Pages has this flagged as Extortion and the graph shows these calls started on the 15th.  The number is a Vail Lab VoIP in NYC.

This phone number just called my cell phone. A recorded message stated the IRS was planning to file a lawsuit and I, or my attorney, needed to call them back. Based on the other entries here, I am not planning to do so.

Had got the same call from them saying the same thing about a lawsuit and this and that so I called it back and some Arabian guy got on the phone and was being all snooty with me so finally told them that I'm not gunna answer to someone who doesn't speak English its a fraud do not fall and give them your info

Fraud and Scammer - they hang up on you if ask them to remove your number from the list. They are also illegally using automated calling.

The caller said they were calling from IRS. Scam caller.

Keep calling them back...telling them you know it's a scam and the big reward after only 5 calls is. .... ready... They block your number..  Boo ya!!

I get this message at least once a week and am tired of it.  Nothing but phishing.  The IRS DOES NOT call people.

Someone over in India, apparently, with an IRS scam.  Said the F-word consistently.  Had a bit of fun with them, and they just abandoned their phone, but didn't drop the call.  They left the phone off the hook for a good half hour and I could hear the other people in the call center doing the IRS scam.

I've gotten several of these calls. I always hope to get arrested and thrown in prison. I would love to get three meals a day that I don't have to cook and an hour outside to play basketball. I don't get any of that now....lol.
