this is a scam, trying to order notebook computers and using stolen credit cards

I received an e-mail wanting to order 3,000 t-shirts from us & they were using this phone number 347-535-0645.  He said he would pay & pick them up at our location in Michigan.  He wouldn't give me any information - no company name or address - using the name Peter Piatt.????

Yesterday 5/19/08 Peter Piatt wanted to buy 3000 t-shirts and pick them up. The phone number is located in New York City. Informed he couldn't pick up. Price was too high tried to negotiate down. He lost interest and won't contact me.

Our company received the same message about ordering laptop computers. When I inquired he said he would be paying with a VISA, wanted to charge the shipping to his own shipping account and asked that we ship to his wife in Texas. He also said he was local and gave me an address of a grocery store in a large metro area that is about 100 miles away. THIS HAS ALL THE RED FLAGS OF A SCAM!

I also got an email today with the same phone # he gave me the name Julius Capuchino,347-535-0645 05/27/08.   He wanted to buy 3000 plain t-shirts.  Thank you for having this website and postings.  You guys saved me a lot of time.   I am in North Carolina

I received the same email today looking for 3,000 white t-shirts he was going by the name of Josh Stewart and # 347-535-0645. He sent me credit card information and I just felt like something was not right. I am sooo glad I found this website before I sent in the order.

I received an email. Wanting 3000 blank white t-shirts.  Bronx, NY  Using the name Thomas Greg.  Gave me two credit card numbers, both I assume are stolen.  Was told to keep running them $900.00 at a time until all went through. EMail address rev.thomasgreg2g3@yahoo.com.
