Comes up Account Services” but it’s really the bottom feeding scum at Portfolio Recovery, an agency that buys written off and other debt that is past the legal limit to try to collect on.

Looking for someone whose last isn’t even close to mine at a # I’ve had for over twenty years. REALLY an old debt for someone. Like the responder above, have at least that many numbers blocked that they use

Scumbags calling my work phone. I have no outstanding debt. Asked for someone named Cheryl. Threatened to have me arrested if I didn't tell them who I was. While it's not illegal to try and collect on old expired debt. It is illegal to threaten arrest and to claim they can put that debt back on your report which was threatened before I told them I wasn't cheryl.
