IS THIS LEGITIMATE NUMBER FOR THE COMPANY LISTED BELOW?

It's a scam job site. They will send you two high value checks to cash and then buy moneypaks from walmart. You're then supposed to give them the moneypak numbers and guess what, the money on there will mysteriously disappear. I did not fall for this, but figured it out because it was just a little too fishy.

In emails they will not say a person's name just Human Resources.

I got the checks - and they cash just fine. I have given it 5 business days to confirm that the funds are in my account. How could this be a scam?

Yeah right - liar!

A well-made fake check can take 3 weeks or longer to bounce.  Federal law requires your bank to credit your account within 5 business days of the deposit even if the checks haven't yet cleared.  If the checks bounce after 5 days your bank will take the money out of your account.  If you have already taken the money out of the account they will do whatever it takes to get it back.  They will also charge you a bounced check fee.  They may file criminal charges.

You have already deposited the checks.  Do NOT spend the money.  Give the checks a full 3 months to bounce before you spend any of the money.
