Got one hangup call from this number. Called it, got a real person. Said I didn't care what they were selling, I just wanted off their list. He hung up. That irritated me, so I called back, got another real person. Told him what had just happened to me, repeated that I simply wanted off their list. He said I had to politely say please if I wanted off. That's when I told him what he could do to himself. Not my finest hour, but it was satisfying to get that said and hang up first.

I can relate to the action you took,  but I have learned that it often leads to more calls. If I knew then what I know now,  I would have ignored calls from unfamiliar numbers.

You know what is disturbing? Every time I get a weird call from unknown or private or whatever, i can rely on this site to ALWAYS have a link to the number. Government trying to save us from ISIS and they can't do anything about a simple telco harassment problem.

Just got a call from this number and the dude said his name was Mike Meyerz (how original).  Email is mmeyerzhotrod14@gmail.com and his "manager's name" is Steve Sostoff.  He claimed he is calling from Orien Wellness regarding a free cancer screening kit.  When I asked how he got my phone number he said they are a third party provider and would have got it from my doctor's office/ medical provider.  I let him know that I will be contacting his "manager" as well as my medical company because I have not in any way provided consent to sell/send/give my information to anyone and this is breaking HIPPA laws.  I got all of his info prior to telling him they will be reported.

Also got this call for a free cancer screening kit.  Scam ... he wanted my my health care provider's name and my policy #.

Got this call from "Orion Cancer Screening." Said they had been given my info by my medical provider for free cancer screening.  Told him my provider would NEVER give out my info without my consent, and he proceeded to tell me, "You're wrong, but you think you know everything." I asked him who gave him my info, and he got all hoity-toity saying, "Ma'am I will not continue this dialogue with you." Get bent buddy, and get a real job instead of bothering me at mine.
