I am a costumer service rep for a small newspaper and they continue to call to pester me about another lady who has not worked at our company for several years. I have told him time and again to not call our location because we do not accept calls of this kind for any person. Today I came back from lunch with an awfully threatening voicemail on my personal desk line, now the lady who he is leaving the message for and I do not even have names in any way similar so he is just leaving random messages on another person's line. He too claimed he was a debt collector and wished her luck for her credit and I'm 99% sure he even said "your kids" at one point. However the ridiculously thick middle-eastern accent was throwing me off quite a bit so I may be wrong on that but I don't believe so. Definitely be bold to them when they call and do not believe they know where you live. Anybody could call a random number and tell you they are watching your home, and it all be completely false. Do not give in to it but do report it!

this number called me threatning me saying i was going to jail and good luck for some bogus charges about a loan that i never recieved!!

Its better if you answer the call, then hang up.  That way you don't to listen to stupid messages.  After about two calls, they stop.  Well, at least for the week.

I, too, have gotten these phone calls.  Two (2) on my cell and two (2) at my office.  For one, I couldn't understand him very well...all I caught of his name was Johnson and I did catch the "good luck" part.  I started receiving these kind of phone calls right after I bought my car a couple of years ago.  My boss has even told them to stop calling, but they just hang up and call again.  My husband has chewed on them, but once again, they keep calling.  I could hear, in the background, the other people talking, but in a different language....one I couldn't understand.  They are truly scam artists trying to get money out of you.  They use disposable cell phones and once the minutes are used up on that particular phone, they move on to another.  They have ppl here that buy a bunch of pre-paid cell phones and send them to them.....don't fall for this.

They left a message and said they were an attorney and needed to speak with me regarding an important legal matter.  I knew it was a scam.  They were foreign and couldn't even pronounce my name right.  Ignorant!!!!!

This scam artist with an Indian accent called me and said I need you or your attorney to call me. If you don't, you will be arrested. I wish you good luck. This [***] is a scam artist. I called him back and told him that I know who you are and the FBI is looking for you. It's just a matter of time before they arrest your ass. So don't call me again because you will not get a penny from me.

I received a call from this number by the name of alex (foriegn indian). he first ask if i had an attorney with me.    he said i had a cash advance loan that the bank didn,t  pay .  he stated that they were  sending the sheriff department after me at my home, tomorrow to serve  and arrest me.   That the company didn't want to settle they wanted me in jail for fraid.  I call the sheriff department and they had no idea.    as anyone else have this happen

A man called with a heavy accent and told me i owed cash advance of us and they have been trying to collect money and i am being arrested for fraud. He said i had no options but when i said i had no money he gave me three options. Someone one with a heavy accent called me 911 emergency and told me they was coming to get me in two to three hours. After that the guy alex called and said i have friday to pay the full balance of 789.59 to close my case. At first i had no options at all but now i do. What a scam

These people keep calling my phone every morning a 7 am....

Called me yesterday saying they were gonna serve papers on me and that they are gonna file charges against me

I've been getting calls from a man with the last name if "Johnson" threatening legal action against me for a pay day loan that I never received. The man (very heavy middle-eastern accent) has called me for the past 6 days about 6 times a day stating that it was very time sensitive. After calling the man back, I let him know that I've gotten the police involved and then blocked his number from being able to call my cell. Don't give into the crap, this is a scam, don't give or verify any personal information to the man.

I have received harassing phone calls from this number the guy says he is an Attorney and he has called my friend also and when asked what it is about all he says is i will see you in court tomorrow morning and I told him good luck I called my bank and i am in the negative of 268.00 and it was from some place called ACHD. He wouldn't give his name nor would he let me speak to his supervisor. I told him i am pressing fraud charges against him through my bank I have an application on my phone that lets me record every phone call.

He also told me after I told him my bank is charging him with fraud he said I want to F***K your A**

The guy called me also.. I wish HE would go JAIL!

HI everyone, Ive been getting the same call and same situation as everyone else. Its monday tomorrow and he i would have to go to court or else i would be arrested. What should i do? ignore the [***]? Did everyone ignore them? please please let me know, i really want this guy to stop calling me and stop this for good. I mean at first it got me scared but doing research on this number got me to calm down a little.

They cannot have you arrested, even if you do owe for a loan. Non-payment is a civil matter, not criminal and the police wont even get involved.

I have gotten number of phone calls from this number and other numbers i am getting so sick of it.  is there anything we can do?

I got a call today from this number i did not answer. The man left a message could not understand what he said his name was but like everyone else he treatened me and wished me luck if i did not call back. who do i report this to?
