What happened to the do not call list! Scam call!!

Left a partial "press one" message on my landline answering machine.  I'm on the Do Not Call list, and my # is unlisted, but I'm receiving these calls anyway.

Did he have an Indian accent?  If not, then it might have been a spoofed number used from India, and you might have ended up calling just some guy in Bensonhurst.  Otherwise, good job.

Got 2 calls within 2 minutes...no one spoke..called number to hear recorded message say I won Walmart gift card...regarding previous posts, I had no contact with Serius XM or car dealerships..hung up quick..scam for sure

this # called me as well so I called back too like you guys did they said I won a walmart gift voucher [not card] I just told them I was a Fraud Investigator too and there line was being traced and not to call this # again . :) woman said thank you and ok. she could have been from India.

Answered the phone. Pressed 1. They guy said his name was John Blair. (Very strong Indian accent) asked him where he was from. Said Ohio. I said "that's weird, it says you're calling from New York" he wasn't quite sure what to say. I asked him to connect me with the manager. He said please hold and hung the phone up. Can't stand when this crap happens.

I don't answer callers I don't recognize. These guys are cheapskates if they only offer a $100 GC. Other scammers are offering between $1000 to $3000. LOL

Your sense of humor is appreciated! When dealing with these lowlifes we need to keep it in the proper perspective. I wouldn't accept their offer, unless it came with the $3000.00, PLUS a free cruise, lower interest rates, a medic alert, AND 2 Million Dollars and a Mercedes, of the color of MY choice. At that point I would have to consider what other offers they have for me before making the final decision.

I let it go to voicemail and it was the same $100 offer nonsense described below. I've added the number to my iPhones ignore list.

Mine were two hang-up calls in succession on my cellphone. Annoying lowlives!

I called them back and told them that I am reporting them and will sue them for calling me repeatedly when I am on the do not call list and she said "ok"

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.

I got this call yesterday.  Recorded message says I have "won" a $100 gift card.  Just press #1 for details.  OK.  Young lady with an Indian accent says that I have won, and they would like to send me the card. Tells me that I will have to pay shipping and handling, which is $6.95.  I can do this with my credit card.  Asks me my name - which I give - then asks me for my address.  I tell he to guess my address.  She says she needs me to tell her.  So I give her a clue.  It's in NYS.  She says that she doesn't know my address, so I will have to tell her.  I tell her that I won't tell her my address, but that I will tell her she is working for a scam company, and she should feel terrible about stealing from people.  Hung up.

offered $3000 and said they will give me a walmart or target gift card

i recieved a text from this number around 2am the man knew my government name saying it was linked to social media which is a lie also offering me a contract as an adult entertainer
