Looks like we got the same guy...

Someone from this number called my home phone twice today. I was not home to answer, so it went to answering machine. No message was left, and I didn't recognize the number, it just said New York, so I came here to see what the number might be. Boy, have I found out!  I am glad to know who this is so I won't answer next time he calls. Thank you all, I love being informed.

Middle Eastern sounding guy who said he was with United Services & claimed I had $8000 in credit card debt. When I stated I was not familiar with United Services he said it is a debt managment company. I said I was not interested and to not call this number again and was told "shut up, [my name]".

I got a call from 347-851-4407 this morning.  The caller ID said "New York". A man with a middle Eastern accent called himself "David" and starting saying that he was calling about unsecured debt, blah blah blah. I cut him off nicely but firmly by requesting him to take my name off of his call list. He said, "WHY??!!!" very rudely. I told him I was on the Do Not Call list, and then I hung up.

Just six minutes later, the phone rang agin - same caller. This time, he used a different name, but it sounded like the same man with a middle Eastern accent. He started again with the same conversation about credit cards, debt, etc.  I said I had gotten a call a few minutes earlier from them, and that I had requested not to be contacted again by them. He said, "WHY??!!"  I'm not kidding. These people are horrible and rude - definitely not professional and don't seem to care about the LAW, because when I again told him that I was going to nicely request to be taken off of their contact list and that I was on the National Do Not Call list, he said, "You [***]!!"  I never talk to telemarketers like this, but for some reason today I decided I had taken enough abuse, and today was the day I was going to at least stand up for what's right - even if it won't make a difference with these pigs. I said, "You know I'm going to report you - and I'll sue your company if you call again." He yelled "You [***] - just hang up" at me again. That's when I hung up.

Received 2 calls today, didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. I just called it back and it says the number is not in service.

I keep getting calls from 347-851-4407 even though I asked that my name be removed from his calling list. Also, I told this guy my number was listed on the do-not-call-list which he told me didn't make any difference.

Yep, I got the same call from 347-851-4407 on my teenagers cell phone. Middle-Eastern caller identified himself as John - started by asking if I had over $20K in credit card debt and why I hadn't resolved it. I asked him why he was calling me and where he was from. He said according to my creditors I had been placed on a list from the credit report companies.  I said whatever and continued to probe.  He got mad and called me a [***].  I was shocked and thought I'll play along.  So, I remained silent and listened to him rant at me.  He said "don't show me your attitude, just hang up now" .  I continued to hang on and not say anything.  He called me a [***] again and then hung up on me.  I'm calling the police.

Just got a call from this number about an hour ago.  My husband answered, and said too that it was a middle eastern accent; my husband could not understand him what he was saying, so just said to him, 'speak English please...thank you and then hung up on him!  He didn't give him a chance to give his little speil.  It should up on our phone as a Cellular call.  Glad to know we're not the only ones getting these weird calls.  We're also on the Do Not Call list.  So frustrating!

I received a call from this number on my work phone. We are an advertising agency and deal with agencies like this alot. Most everyone here had their number entered into an online form or called into some type of commercial.
This agency probably bought that data (or more likely stole) for cents on the dollar.
They mask their number so it appears to be a NY number but it is ultimately untraceable.
Just tell him you ate his cow and hang up.
Thats what I did.

I just received a call from this number (347-851-4407).  He started by stating that they are contacting people with credit card debt who are current on their payments.  He also said they are not a debt consolidation company or a debt collector...  I interrupted him at this point and told him that I'm on the National Do-Not-Call Registry and asked why I was receiving this call.  He literally screamed at me to "Shut up!" and "I didn't ask if you were on the registry, you stupid [***]!"  I told him to never call again, or I would report him to the MD Attorney General for prosecution.  He then screamed at me (and this is an exact quote) "F*#! you! F*#! you! I'm going to f*#! you! F*#!"  I hung up then.  

I have already reported this call to the National Do-Not-Call Registry, the New York State Attorney General's Office, and the Maryland State Attorney General's Office.  If you have a similar experience, please do the same!!

I just received a phone cal from this number. He knew my name and said we had spoken before Christmas about my credit card debt that I wanted to settle. He said he was from United Services. I said that I didn't remember talking to him and that I don't want him to call me anymore, and started to hang up. but he yelled at me "WHY?!!?" I told him I wasn't interested and he continued to yell at me. I asked to talk to his supervisor and he said that he was a manager with that company. I told him than he should know better than to yell at customers. He called me a F*****G B***H! and hung up.

Got a call, asked for my wife by name.  Did the standard 8K in credit card debt.  When we asked who he was with, he said "United Services."  When we told him we were on the do not call list, he became verbally abusive and profane then hung up.  Indian/Pakistani accent..

I got 5 calls from these people yesterday. The first time they called I figured they were standard telemarketers and I told them I was very busy and really didn't have time to talk to anyone (which was true). I asked the man not to call back and he said "I will." I hung up on him and he immediately called back. When I asked why he was calling again when I just told him I was busy, he said "I like the sound of your voice," which shocked me. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he said "I am the supervisor." I told him I was on the Do Not Call list and not to call me again and he said "I will call you again." I kind of lost it at that point and cursed at him because I was so angry and a little freaked out. I hung up on him and he called back twice. I just hung up both times but it really upset me. The same number called back hours later and I had someone else (a man) answer the phone. The caller wouldn't say anything that time, just hung up. It really freaked me out. He never said why he was calling me. I feel a little better knowing that I'm not the only one they're calling.

I just received a call from this number. When I answered it was like I was listening in on a converstation. I kept saying hello, but these two men just kept talking...at first I couldn't understand what they were saying and then I realized they were talking in a foreign language, something middle eastern sounding. They stopped talking and I hung up.

I got a call from this number today but didn't answer - it looks like they took a little break - I almost wish I would have taken that call now - if this guy thinks he will talk to me like that - guess what buddy, you are getting it back tenfold.........

Just had a great time with these guys.  Bunch of losers!  Got a call from "John" and let him talk for a few minutes then told him not interested and hung up.  Five minutes later "Christine" called and I listened to here and answered her questions.  She put me on hold for a second and her manager "John" got on the call.  He starts asking the same questions and gave him the complete opposite answers I told to "Christine".   I couldn't keep a straight face and started laughing so I had to tell "John" that I was playing with him and intentionally wasting his time.  He hung up.  A minute later, "Christine" calls back so I answered with and she asked why I told john I was" lying." and asked why I wasted her "valuable" time.  I told her "John" was lying to her and I needed their help with my debt.  Needless to say, "Christine" was confused but she was able to call me a "bloody a#$hole".  I ended making a remark about her mom and she hung up on me.  We'll see if they call again.
