No doubt a spoofed number. This # is local to me; this caller has called a couple of times a week for a couple of weeks. Thought it might be a wrong #, picked up hoping to get rid of them. After the (telltale) pregnant pause, this cheery voice asked, "[Radishmom]?"
"Who *is* this?" (the voice sounded familiar)
"This is Rick (NOT "Raymond," the first name of the party in the CID) with Homeless Veterans..."
"Nope. Not interested. Take my number off your list." Goodbye [CLICK]"

Number blocked.

They called yesterday. Recorded message, supposedly with voice recognition, so if you don't hang up right away, they give you the option to press "1" to make a donation to the homeless veterans. Which I did. When a live person picked up for "verification that you're comfortable with the amount you pledged" (you can donate $50, $75, or $150), I told her I wanted to donate $5000, but it would have to be charged to a stolen VISA card. She asked "Are you serious?" to which I responded "Are you seriously expecting people to fall for this scam?" Then I hung up.

CID showed 352-227-4532, Erazo Raymond, which is within my local area code. Most likely spoofed.

Got a call from this number Last night (Sunday). Didn't pick up, figured it was a telemarketer. Area code is local.

Local call from Clermont, FL.  Left no message.  Likely a scammer as per notes above.  It never stops.
