Just got a call from this number. Answered, and they hung up immediately. I really hope that they don't persistently call like some of these other posts say!

This is just the Univ. of FL calling its graduates and/or students to keep the college's records updated. You can't call the number back to talk to anyone directly, but you can leave a message if you wish to have them call or not call you again. But you'll have to give them enough info. on your message in order for them to locate your records.

However, In order to confirm or update your address, etc. with them, you must wait until they call you again, since that is how their phone/computer/directory system is set-up. Go Gators!

All 352-392 numbers are UF. It's the UF Foundation. Still annoying but definitely legit.

Call Toll-free: 800.279.6796  and ask to be removed from their solicitation list.  This is the Florida Fund and they sub out the work for making the phone calls (though college students are still doing the work sometimes).  You can find the information for this department at http://www.floridafund.uff.ufl.edu.  I don't know why they think we will give money when they act like this.  I am guessing the people hang up beause then they don't have to do any real work.  They contact a caller and then act like a goon. I am embarrassed that my university is involved in such nonsense.

This is the contact info to call during regular business hours and ask to be removed from the list. It is the Florida Fund and they sub out the job of phone soliciting.  These callers can be real jerks.  It would be helpful to call the number above and let them know.  It is embarrassing that UF is associated with such antics.  I will not be giving them any more money. This has been going on for years, each time I give it is followed by a three-four months of trying to get the harassment to stop.

I got called last night too. They asked if the address they have is my home address now?? The scare part is how they can find out of cell phone #?? Cause my UF record have my home phone # only.

Keeps calling and hanging up

These calls have to be a scam of some sort. I have nothing to do with a University of Florida or any foundation, as other posting say.

same as last person - around 8:30 pm showed up as missed call on my cell.  i didn't have phone on audio at the time.

Got a call on Superbowl Sunday from a person using 352-392-7754 as an outbound number.  The guy stated that he was an UF engineering student. I then asked questions that only UF engineering students would know.  He fail the test. The phone ended!

Has called me several times, then hangs up!!!

I get a call several times a week, around 8:30 pm.

Received a call from this number. The person said his name was Bret, would not give me his last name. He asked for my son who does not live in Gainesville. Bret said it was a courtesy call to get new information from my son about his experience at the U of F because he was an alumni. He hung up when I told him my son did not wish to talk with him. The persons who call from this number are scammers. Persons be aware and do not send money to them.

If it is the UF Alumni, need to update records.  I have never had any contact whatsoever with UF, much less attended it.

These students have the nerve to call my home after I have called the university to take my name off the list 4 times.  They even call my wife's cell phone as well my home again last night!  

I'm sick of all these calls as well as all others coming thru.  I'm on the do not call list.

Repeated calls from this number. I have never been to Florida nor attended college there.
