Glad I always check this site when I receive calls from unknown numbers.  Received call and I did not answer; no message was left.

Automated call about reducing credit card rates

Caller ID:  Eustis, FL

Did not answer.  Voicemail left was a recording saying that they need to speak to me about my credit card account, concerning lowering my interest rate.  THIS IS A SCAM.

PLEASE NOTE that there is no point in pressing a number to be removed or asking the person to be removed from calling list.  They are not following the law - they don't care.  Doing this will only make it MORE likely to receive more calls.  All you can do is stop answering calls from numbers you don't recognize and then block the number and report them to the FTC.  If you are on their Do Not Call Registry, go to donotcall.gov to submit a complaint.
